I want to give a HUGE round of applause to Gayle👏🏻
With her given permission, I want to mention that Gayle went through THREE surgeries during our course of training. This put a halt in our sessions yet she made NO EXCUSES when it came to upholding the things we’ve taught her.
It had been a month since we’ve seen both Gayle and Auggie to continue our program and she was so excited to show us all the work she’s been doing with him. A true woman warrior who has become such an inspiration and a wonderful friend. 💚

Our former students Yedi and Ranger here for boarding!

If you are planning a trip and need a place for your dog(s) to stay we offer boarding to all our former students!
With boarding we can continue to uphold the training, take trips to pet friendly outings, daily walks (usually early in the morning during the summertime), supervised play, proper socialization, work on confidence building, and much more! Most importantly they stay in our home and become a part of our family. 🐾❤️

Diego is a beautiful Red XL American Bully who was returned to the shelter three times and was put on the euthanasia list.
He was saved by a foster home who saw potential in Diego and decided to enroll him into our boarding program so that Diego could find a responsible, loving home in the future.
Diego has been such a great student. He’s sweet, goofy, loving, smart and loves to play ball... it’s saddens me to know he was almost euthanized.
We’re super happy to be apart of Diego’s journey to finding a good home. He’s going to be a great companion.

She is such a sweet girl, but needs to learn manners so she knows not to jump and nip others!
I’m super excited to work with her. She may look mischievous but I know all she wants to do is please.

We are so pleased that Eric referred us to Shawna.
She has had so much patience for all of us.
Shawna is a diligent trainer when working with Sarge and always answered the many questions my husband, Alex, and I had throughout training.
We inherited Sarge from my daughters litter and Sarge grew to be larger than his mother and father at just seven months.
As us being seniors we knew we needed help with such a big dog. Sarge would constantly jump up on us, pull on the leash, chase our cats, nip and break our skin.
It was nearly impossible to hold him back and be in control.
Sarge did fairly well with our livestock... but he was still very unpredictable. We had to either keep him in a secluded pen or in the house in his kennel.
Working with Shawna made us realize we needed to be patient and calm when working with Sarge. We are still working on that.
Shawna made it a goal for us to make Sarge our companion dog and work with us on our farmland, which is something we never believed Sarge could do.
After many exercises, Shawna and Sarge proved to us he can work with us on the land. My husband, Alex, and Sarge wake up every morning and head out to do the usual morning chores. When I look out the window or sit on the porch I can see Sarge in his down stay watching over my husband and the animals. It is both exciting and relaxing to see. We know training will take a few more months but we are so amazed at how far we have come already.

Thank you Shawna, for your patience, guidance, and clarity on how to train Sarge..we are more than satisfied with the results.

Our students Kobe and Ava were able to be apart of their parent's wedding this past weekend! Such good pups and such a beautiful photo! Congratulations to our newly wedded clients, I’m so happy for them both and I'm so glad they were able to make their fur babies apart of their special day ❤️

Oscar and his mom walking off leash through one of his biggest distractions, people!
Oscar is a one year old Vizsla whose come such a long way! I’m super proud of him but even more proud of his mom, Gretchen, for practicing and upholding the training.
Before training Oscar didn’t know any boundaries and would jump on new people, pull on the leash, and would bolt away from his owners.
Just look at him now with that happy little tail of his! We strive to make confident, reliable, and happy dogs! 🐾

A wonderful group session with a few clients yesterday!
Lots of work with socialization, recall, distractions and off leash. Everyone did amazing with their pups! It’s so great seeing everyone’s hard work pay off 🐾
