I HATE TO INFORM . WE LAST A BABY THIS EVENING.🤬😭😭😭😭😭

RIP Buddy. Thanks for everyone's help. We caught a lead late last night with tragic results. It seems to have been our boy. He was ran over and left on the side of the curb. We buried him ourselves since his body was covered in maggots. Too late for a proper cremation. As sad as we all are I'd like to thank everyone for their support.

Anyone have room for this sweet, smaller girl? Venus is around 25lbs, 1 year young and heartworm negative. She was in temporary foster during the storm where she enjoyed kids, other dogs and was also fine with cats. Can anyone help us get her back on a couch?

Squishy came in from the euthenization list with parvo and went directly to treatment and was so strong and survived!

Love Letters from Foster 💌

Squishy is the sweetest boy. He’s a mellow velcro dog who would love nothing more than to follow you around all day. He loves to cuddle up next to you with a toy and entertain himself. he’s very comfortable in his crate and can be there without much whining. He’s at the point in potty training where he understands to go outside and will mostly wait to be taken out. He would be an amazing addition to a family.

Today was simply wow! This morning 23 dogs and 41 cats set out from the Homeless Adoptable Dogs Rescue Network and headed north to Washington! Our shelter is completely overwhelmed, and these cuties deserve happy forever homes! Now thanks to our amazing donors this plane load is safe. But there are so many more still waiting! MAGGIE THE COCKERPOO🐾🥰…

We’d like to introduce a very lovely lady to you who goes by the name of Maggie. Maggie is a 5 year old Cockerpoo who has initially come to Homeless Adoptable Dogs Rescue Network from a breeder. She had a short adoption stint but unfortunately was returned to us & continues her search for her forever home🏠

Being an ex-breeding dog, Maggie does have her fair share of worries & uncertainty. I mean, can we really blame her? She began to show behaviours at home in which her owners felt they were not experienced to deal with😔

Maggie is a worried girl, who does panic if feeling unsure, and has shown some signs of resource guarding. We are looking for a home that has had experience with dogs with similar behaviour issues & are well equipped to deal with this, to ensure Maggie is set up for the ultimate success🐾

We are looking for a relaxing & calm adult only home, with no visiting children. Ideally a home that also doesn’t have too many visitors & lots of comings and goings out, as this is something that can unsettle Maggie😢

Maggie will need a MALE resident dog at home, ideally her size or larger. This is what she prefers, and tends to not like smaller dogs. She is very fond of her male kennel buddies & loves to cuddle with them during the day🥰

Maggie walks lead wonderfully, she loves her treats, enjoys her playtime with her kennel pals & enjoys playing fetch too! She will allow a gentle fuss & has been great with all staff members at the rescue during her time here💓

Maggie is such a sweet girl, who has had a lot of negative human interaction in her past that causes her to be untrusting of us. We unfortunately cannot take that trauma away from her, but what we can do is mend her heart & soul by finding her a family that will accept her and allow her to be the best companion🥹

Ever wonder what it looks like inside our planes as we load the crates full of rescue pets going to their forever homes? It takes a lot of coordination to make sure we pack the plane with as many lives as possible. Which is what we'll be doing on August 27th when we fly from Riverside, Coachella and Merced shelters in California! Collectively 63 dogs and cats will be travelling from our shelter and headed to happily ever afters in Washington! The Homeless Adoptable Dogs Rescue Network is in desperate need and we are working to make these California flights a monthly occurrence, but we need your help! A 12Y/O ELDERLY DOG CAME IN FROM A HOME💔…Joey is a Chihuahua X Jack Russell came to our shelter today from a home as they could no longer look after him. Joey has lived in a home for 12 whole years & known nothing but love - so to find himself in a kennel with no one to call family anymore is truly a tragic tale😔

Joey is the sweetest boy. He is an absolute darling infact. He is easy to handle, friendly, and so gentle. It’s really broken our hearts today to see him behind a kennel gate, when all he’s ever known has been taken from him so suddenly😢

This beautiful little man walks lead beautifully, is good with kids, and cats too!!

We’d home Joey as an ONLY DOG providing his owners have a lot of time & love to give him. He is in his silver years now & really needs a family who can love the absolute bones of him with whatever time he has left. We’d also home him alongside calm & chilled out resident dogs who can complement his gentle nature, and offer him a beautiful companionship🐾

We’ve discovered today Joey’s love for toys! He really enjoys his playtime, and has such a sweet excitable energy about him, that you don’t typically find in an elderly dog. He’s a little sweetheart who deserves to be cherished for the rest of his days💓

Joey is a golden oldie. We’ve filled the back of his kennel with duvets, and pillows. Given him lots of toys to play with during the night, and put a heat lamp on for him. It’s the most homely we could make a kennel. But Joey really deserves to be back at home, with a loving family who’ll never give up on him. We can only pray his chance comes soon🥹

Two days until we are on the ground in Ruidoso, New Mexico in partnership with the aspca to lend a hand to their terribly overcrowded shelter. Ruidoso has been hit hard this summer with multiple fires and flooding, so their shelter is in desperate need of relief. CADET THE CHIHUAHUA🐾💓…Cadet is a gorgeous 3 year old Chihuahua who came to us back in May with his brother who has now found his forever home. Cadet remains here at the rescue, waiting for his chance to be the best companion to a very lucky family🥰

Cadet is an actual sweetheart. He was very mistrusting of us when he arrived, but with a little love & care, he soon realised we were no threat. When you go to smooth him now, he will roll over on his back & ask for belly rubs. It’s his favourite kind of affection for sure🥹

A member of staff has taken Cadet out of the rescue, to allow him some time outside of rescue & to see how he adapts to new settings. It’s safe to say he had a whale of a time & was sooooo well behaved!

We’d home Cadet either as an ONLY DOG with people who have a lot of time to dedicate to him, and can offer him an awesome companionship. Or we’d home him alongside other FEMALE DOGS, of similar size or a little bigger🐶

Cadet can live with sensible dog-savvy teenagers, who can allow him space & time to decompress if needed, and can offer him a quieter environment should he need it when settling🐾

This little lad has been here now for 3 months; with little to no interest. He’s watched his brother fly the nest, and we think he’s ready to take the next big step and enter a super exciting chapter of his life; going to his forever home🏠

Kimchi is the sweetest little angel with the biggest personality! She loves to snuggle and her favorite place to be is curled up right next to her person. She also LOVES to play with her foster siblings! She is tiny but fearless, and didn’t miss a beat getting in the mix with my other dogs. She’s getting the hang of the p*e pads and is such a smart little pup I’m sure potty training will be a breeze. This little girl is pure magic!

Today our rescue team of Dean & Chris flew some 40 cats and dogs from North Carolina to New Hampshire Humane Society!

We would like to thank Charles at New Hampshire Humane for receiving the cats and dogs, and to all those on the sending end: Christy of Noah’s Ark, Tash of Shelter Animal Transport Alliance and all the folks from McDowell & Macon County Animal Shelters plus the Valley River Humane Society!

A mission this large takes lots of logistical planning and crate configurations to make sure every pet fits in the plane; shout out to Katy at Amelia Air for getting the job done! ✈️👏🐾

Today we partnered with to fly out their 60,000th pet! HSNT flew over 100 pets out of Fort Worth, Texas to Washington and Idaho where there is tremendous anticipation for these sweets pets arrival!

It takes a village to make flight transportation happen. Grueling hours, no sleep, running on coffee and….whatever we can find to eat.

This is what we can accomplish when like minded organizations come together. We save lives.
