We are seeking a talented professional pet groomer that wants to join our Fort Worth, TX team.

Petbar wants to be the number one choice for our clientele's grooming needs by providing exceptional spa-style services in a state-of-the-art, bright, upscale, and clean environment. All of our professional groomers are provided their own room to privately and safely groom your client's pet in a stress-free, calming space.

Candidates must be willing to work 3 - 6 days per week (Fridays and Saturdays are busiest, we are closed Sundays). Our hours are 9 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday, 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday. We offer a highly competitive commissioned-based pay; in essence, your earning potential is unlimited, plus 100% of client tips.

This position is responsible for full-service boutique-level grooming, including but not limited to, bathing, drying, brushing, de-matting, trimming nails, pads, sanitary areas, brushing teeth, and cutting or grinding nails and full dog and client-specific finish work.

The ideal Petbar Grooming candidate must possess the following skills and characteristics:
Have a very positive mental attitude and genuinely love working with pets

Exceptional understanding of all dog breeds, personality traits, and safe animal handling skills

At least five years of diverse grooming/stylist experience

Provide a current grooming portfolio

Ability to groom 7-10 dogs per day

An expert understanding of the grooming processes, including specifics related to breed styling

Excellent finishing techniques with a primary emphasis on hand sc******ng

Ability to follow specific client requests ensuring clarity

Ability to respectfully and professionally communicate with clients and colleagues to achieve the highest degree of service and build community and client rapport as a genuinely exceptional place to bring their pet

A patient and caring demeanor for your client's pet during the grooming process ensuring the experience is stress-free and enjoyable

Generally, having high energy and fun-loving approach to life

Keep your working area clean and safe

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Pay Type: Direct Hire W2Requirements:- Operate all grooming tools and equipment, including bathing tubs, brushes, steel combs, barber shears, scissors, clippers, driers, and bathing products such as perfumes, shampoo, and soaps- Lift and carry pets generally weighing 0-50 pounds- Work varied hours, days, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate- Stand and walk for long periods- Observe all safety rules and procedures and adhere to safety standards- Safely work around pets and pet waste- Assist self serve clients with set-up and operation of tubs and driers- Clean up pet waste- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize holding areas, tubs, and dust as necessary to maintain an exceptional client experience and working environment.

Education: High-school diploma or equivalent. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.Professional Certifications desired but not required
