Tux is leaving us this week on transport so I had to post an update pic!! Just look at that hair!! Hes a gorg boy.

Stitch is staying!! I know i had decided to adopt him out, but hes just so pretty. I can not let him go. Hes getting into his lunk hair now too! I've also got him paired with a roan lunk... 3 new pairings made and will be posted soon for June-Aug litters!!🤭

They came out a pretty swirly pattern. I was really hoping to get some of Sparrows coloring. Maybe next time!! These babies are Abyssinian!

Sometimes buyers have to back out and that is perfectly fine! These girls have been lovely additions to the herd and ive enjoyed their stay😊
They have big personalities and love to play tag with each other! Real fun to watch since they are so CHUNKY.

Can go together or seperate as proper additions. ❤️

Pregnancy Confirmations!!

Seems every one of our pairings was successful,
except Raleigh. I cant really tell yet for her so im guessing she probably didnt take. Asmodeous is just a baby coming into his own so he and Raleigh will be paired for round 2!!

All due date months are just guesstimates. As their due dates approach, I'll have better time frames! Latest possible date is may 18th. That is 10 weeks from separation date. So all babies will be born before then ;).
Also dont mind their messy coats. Being with the boys really takes a kick out of my girls! Now their in their pregnancy suite and will get lots of maintenance and care!! ❤️☺️

3 texel, one peruvian/lunk, and one aby litter!
I also have another lunk mama possibly expecting... but I'll update when I can confirm it!

First pick sow deposits are still open for Bailey and Hazels litters only!

There will be a few transports coming our way in June, July, and even possibly August that any of these upcoming babies can jump on! Just for my out of staters to keep in mind👀❤️

What an eventful weekend!

We adopted out 6 piggies and 10 bunnies this weekend alone! My piggy room looks so empty 💔

Only 1 little Grey male left! Hes got the lionhead mane with dwarf ears and size!

Going to miss this bunch, they are so ADORABLE!
Their mama is leaving us too. We are only going to have about 5 breeding pairs of rabbits.

Side note, we're adding 3 new beautiful lunkarya sows next weekend!! One is expecting and due next month 🎉 and the other mama is known for having litters of 6 🤯.. super excited to add these girls!
Possibly going to add a few peruvians here soon too, I will keep you updated!
Im not adding anymore boars, unless it is a peruvian. That's the last male i need ☺️!!

Been a rough week! That huge storm that came through Tuesday morning hit us hard. We had no power or water for a few days !!

Piggies & buns were happy bc they got extra veggies that couldn't be refrigerated!

If you're looking for a more manageable medium length coat, Sterling or Steele would be perfect! Their coats are great for younger piggy parents, beginners, or anybody looking for low maintenance! They are in a bachelor pad with 5 boys total and would do great with another boar or each other!

So cute how some have the lionhead mane, and some have the netherland dwarf ears, or have it vice versa! 😆 they are adorable.

Bitter sweet day today. I know I don't post about my chickens on here, but we had our very first eggs hatch yesterday. But unfortunately I lost all 3 of my laying mamas. I've raised them up from hatchlings. I think a hawk is getting them... free roam has worked so well for us but the hawks know when my livestock guardian dogs aren't watching. I'm so upset and just needed to vent somewhere. My favorite one was taken this morning. We're in the process of building our main coop and our breeding pens... just a few weeks too late for a few of my girls.

Picture of 2 of my 3 hatched so far...out of 7. Thankfully I have about 18 to put in this next batch. Hopefully I get little duplicates of my girls bc I'm distraught 💔😫😪

We also lost a Rex litter. For some reason mama didn't make a nest and they all got too cold. And ofc the baby piggy that passed a few days ago... ugh idk how much more loss I can take this week.

I'll be making a farm page for my goats and chickens if anybody is interested in joining us over there for our farm activities and animals...thanks for letting me rant.

Our mini lionhead had her first litter! She was bred to our Netherland dwarf buck and she had 6!! I had no clue her little body can hold 6 babies omg. These babies are going to be SMALL. 6 little baby bunnies!! Oh how i missed having little buns in the house... i think my last litter was Feb or so of 2024. Shes never had a black kit before but I did pair her with a different buck this time! Can't wait to see how these babies turn out. Looks like a tan, harlequin, silver or opal, and Magpies! Just look at that one that will have diff colored ears 😍! She only throws these colors when I paired her with my rex. This time I paired her with a lionlop for first time so nice to see she can still throw these colors. Hope these babies have some fluff!! Also happy none came out agouti like mama...lol 🤣 #texastexelcavies #babybunnies

Introducing.... RATS 😍❤️ We will be breeding fancy & dumbo rats coming very soon! Even hairless ones! These are our three baby girls. Our boy will be here in about 2 weeks. They love to be held and petted. Absolutely adorable little ones! Too small for their 3 story cage omg🤣🤣 they are so much fun! Don't be surprised at the new additions.... we plan on 2024 to be a new beginning for our new farm/homestead life!
