So excited for our Super Trooper!! Thanks to awesome fur parents, Jason, Dan & Charlie, great Surgeon, Dr Paul Dean and consistent therapy in Aqua Paws 🐾 we walk with limited limping Post Surgery. Way to go Trooper.
Cooper wanted y'all to know he is playing with one of his toys for the first time since his surgery! Still can't use his right arm but his right leg is much better 😊.
We thought about sending Dr Dean a letter threatening lawsuit; ever since he messed with our dog she does things she's never done. Like stand up and reach things off the counter. Jump up and grab food out of your hand. Charge up and down the stairs. Chase the cats. Beg constantly to go on a walk. But then we know not everyone finds us funny. 😃
So, really just wanted to share how thrilled we are with Molly's surgery results. She's doing fantastic. She really does have more energy and I haven't seen a hint of a limp in many months. Thank you all once again for taking such good care of our girl!
PS-tell Dr. Dean she's still around 63 lbs. ⭐️
God bless,

Hello Dr. Dean,
I wanted to thank you for taking such good care of Siena back in February when you performed the TPLO surgery on her right leg. I'm sure if Siena were to see you today, her licker would be working overtime in gratitude. Just four days after seeing you in mid April for her follow up, we moved back to Clermont, FL (We really miss FW.) We continued to follow your instructions for Siena's recovery and rehab. Her vet, Dr. Charlie, says she has mended and rehabilitated so well that there's no difference between her right hip/leg muscles when compared to the left side. You are a gifted surgeon and we are so thankful for your expertise and compassion for these fur babies.
I wanted to give you a hint of how well Siena is doing. I hope the video loads as it should. I apologize this video is a tad long. Normally, after our daily 1 to 2 mile morning walk, she takes off running after being unleashed once on our clay road. (Siena also requires her slave masters to walk her in the late afternoon/early evening, too.) However, this morning, she didn't really "take off" like she usually does. I kept the video running in case she would decide to start running. She never really did.
Overall, Siena is doing great for being 7.5 years old. We are monitoring three small growths. Dr. Charlie pointed out to me she has arthritis in her left knee by allowing me to feel her knee when he maneuvers it. The knee cracks. Ouch. We continue to administer her daily dosages of Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM and Fish Oil, along with Benadryl, which Dr. Charlie is hoping will either stop the growths or at least slow them down. She is just the best dog. However, I'm sure all slave masters say that about their babies.
Thanks again for all you did for Siena. May you and your staff have a blessed Christmas season.
Fondly,
Valerie Contini & Siena
