🏆 PEN OF 3 COMPETITION 🏆
The Pen of 3 Competition will take place in the sales arena in front of a live audience on May 3rd and 4th at Zoetis AngusEXPO, with entries open to all cattle exhibitors.

The competition will evaluate groups of three bulls or heifers on their Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs), physical traits, and overall consistency within the group. This event is an excellent platform to showcase the breeding operation of a great number of studs from across Australia. Exhibitors will also have the chance to share insights about their program during the judging process.

TAMWORTH TO HOST MAJOR CATTLE EXPO! 🐮

The Zoetis AngusEXPO is coming to the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre on May 3-4, 2025!

This event is part of the 2025 Neogen World Angus Forum and will feature the largest display of registered Angus cattle in the Southern Hemisphere. Top breeders from right across Australia will showcase their finest bulls, donor cows and up-and-coming heifers.

It's an exceptional opportunity for local producers and will bring farmers from right across the world to Tamworth.

🌎 Meet The Chairman — Erica Halliday 🌎
After starting a grazing business from scratch in the NSW State forests in 1999 with equal parts stubbornness and imagination Stu and Erica Halliday have grown their grazing business to now incorporate Ben Nevis Angus Stud which has been in Erica’s family for 4 generations.

Erica focuses on managing the genetics and marketing components of the business. She is also well renowned for her business skill set as a facilitator, life coach and board member. As a fourth-generation cattle farmer, Erica understands the complexities and challenges of farming.

Erica has been active on Boards since 2012, most recently as President of the Board of Directors of Angus Australia and has been a Director of the Australian Beef Industry Foundation, Australian Beef Association and Chairman of the NSW State Committee and New England Angus Breeders.

Erica is the Chair of the Neogen Australasia - Livestock World Angus Forum committee and we’re lucky to have her!

The Roma Saleyards is the largest cattle selling complex in Australia; and Day 5 of the Post Tour is sale day. Many cattle producers in Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory choose to sell their cattle at these saleyards and they are known for their record breaking sales. There will be a guided tour of the complex and also the chance to meet with a local livestock agent to receive an insight into the selling process, sourcing cattle and other topics of interest.
