Most of us in Texas know about hot weather and pets, but this is good info either way!

Many dogs are at high risk for heat exhaustion. These include brachycephalic dogs (smush-faced breeds like pugs and bulldogs), greyhounds, thick-furred black dogs, etc. Take extra care with overweight dogs, young puppies, and older pets of all breeds.
