Elsa and Anna—our adorable Yorkie look-alikes—came in today for their dental cleanings with Dr. Loter! 🦷

While they’re not twins, these two could definitely fool us with their matching good looks. Naturally, the real twins—Natasha and Amaya—couldn’t resist snapping a photo of Elsa and Anna heading home with sparkling smiles and fresh breath! 🐾

The Fourth of July is almost here—and while we humans enjoy the festivities, fireworks and loud parties can be terrifying for our furry companions. 🧨😿🐶
If your pet gets anxious during fireworks or storms, now is the time to talk to us about calming medications or supplements. We offer safe, effective options—and as a Fear Free-focused clinic, we’re here to help your pet feel safe, not stressed.
Here are a few vet-approved tips to help keep your pets safe and calm:
🔹 Exercise early. Give your dog a good walk or playtime before the noise begins. A tired pet is a calmer pet.
🔹 Create a safe haven. Set up a cozy, quiet space indoors with familiar bedding, toys, and white noise to help muffle sounds.
🔹 Keep pets indoors. Even if they’re usually okay outside, fireworks can trigger panic and cause pets to bolt or get injured.
🔹 Update ID tags & microchips. Make sure your contact info is current in case your pet escapes.
🔹 Talk to us ASAP. Some meds work best when given in advance—don’t wait!

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Dr. Josh Brown back to Woodland Springs Veterinary Hospital—this time as a veterinarian! After graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Brown is enjoying a well-deserved mini vacation this week before jumping into his new role.
