About the Pet Support and Resource Center: Through a network of compassionate partners, we provide essential services such as free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, preventive care, pet food, and basic medical assistance. We also help with practical needs like minor fence repairs to prevent escapes and provide kennels to ensure outdoor pets are safe and shielded from the elements. Kalie loved her two cats, Mr. Noodle and Avocado. But when they had four kittens, she quickly realized the challenge of caring for multiple pets. She was initially hesitant about spaying and neutering her cats as she worried about how it might impact them. Kalie, however, did her homework and decided spaying and neutering was the best choice for her cats' health and the community pet overpopulation problem. But living in an underserved community, she didn’t have the resources to provide this basic care. Fortunately, we were able to help Kalie with free spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, thanks to our supporters.

Now Kalie no longer worries about unexpected litters, and her cats are living healthier, happier lives. She says the experience has changed her perspective on the importance of spaying and neutering, not only for her pets but for the benefit of the broader animal welfare community.

BISSELL Pet Foundation is breaking the barriers to affordable and accessible spay/neuter by deploying veterinarians to shelters and communities with the most need. These pets received spay/neuter and vaccines for $20!
