2018 Sorrel Gelding “Pence”

This horse is my absolute world & I will be extremely picky on where he goes. Unfortunately my loss, is going to be someone’s amazing gain but I just don’t want this dream horse to sit anymore. He needs to be used to the potential he has as a breakaway/calf horse! This horse has carried me before being pregnant, pregnant & after! He gives his all ever time & will not get out ran. He has been taken all over to rodeos & jackpots. He has alittle over $6,000 in earnings! The easiest horse in the box, smooth and breaks to the pin. 4 white socks, flaxen mane and tail! I have branded on him, done trail riding, carried flags, you name it! He has been calf roped on a few times and works the rope well. Could be finished out in that! Also, had tracked sled heeling but never ran after live steers! He has been turned out all winter due to me being pregnant, so is currently being swam to leg back up and then will ride till sold.

This gelding is one of the most broke, caddy horses we have ever thrown a leg over. He is soooo soft, quick mover but built to last. Take him back to the show pen, or take him outside to brand on, he is the same horse. He is a strong horse, with lots of power and strength! He has been started in the arena on the heel side! He is quick to get there, but needs more consistent runs to be finished out! Also, started on the barrel pattern and showing so much potential since he is soooo quick and snappy. This guy will slide a country mile and spin a hole in the ground. Stands tied, baths, and clips easy. He is up to date on everything and 100% sound.

Many exciting things are happening for us here on the coast! Now that we are married, and the wedding planning is done, we are in full force creating our property into our own, and a horse lovers dream! We will be offering boarding/pasture rental for a while, until we can get the rest complete but sooner than later we will have an Equine Facility🐴 that offers rehabilitation, exercising, lessons, and many other things that are in the works!

Pence is ready to take someone to the top ranks! He is an amazing prospect for breakaway, calf roping, or heeling. Broke, broke, broke! Full of CHROME & FLAXEN MANE/TAIL! He has had 1 year reining cow horse training, so you could take him back to the show pen in a heart beat!

He has been started right, knows all the rights and wrongs, and has been roping the breakaway and heel sled for about 5 months! Stands around 14 hands, built extremely well! Stand tied, hauls amazing, has been trimmed and shoes, baths, walks over tarps and everything in between!

We honestly hate to see one of our own go, but with limited jackpots and rodeos in our area we won’t get the opportunity to season him like he should! He is a once in a lifetime 3 year old!
