Bella is available as a started shed dog. She has already obtained a UKC Working Shed Dog title and could pass a Champion course easily. She has also been started as a gun dog and was dove hunted over last fall. She is a “meat dog” meaning she doesn’t come from a titled pedigree but she does come from dogs that hunt. She would make someone a great hunting companion! Pm me for more details!

We endured the heat at Central Illinois Shed Dogs event this weekend. We went 18/18 in champion class with one podium finish by Riot on Friday with a third place. Came very close to podium times a few other times, and I’m overall very happy with how this young group of dogs ran. Two of the six dogs made their debut this weekend, Prime and Sadie, and they both put up some competitive times, I know they’ll just get better with time and experience! Ollie also ran client dog Riot in youth all three days and snagged a first place in youth today.
Such a good weekend, I’m grateful for clients that trust me with their pups!
Now to start gearing up for our event in October!

A little back story on Sasha. She was brought here because she could never be trusted off a leash, she couldn’t hold certain commands, she would pull like a freight train and be flat out disrespectful by jumping on you and taunting you.
Fast forward a couple weeks and she walks great on a leash, holding commands, no longer being disrespectful and I can completely have her off leash due to proper e-collar conditioning. Won’t be long and we will be sending her back home as a new and improved lady! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
I have some friends looking to rehome their heeler. Free to a good home.
His name is Roper, he is high energy and needs a job! He does good with other dogs and does well with people visiting and kids, he just loves to be loved on.
He does like to be in your space leaning on your leg. He just wants to always be petted. He is an outside dog but sleeps in his crate in the garage at night. He his neutered and will be 2 years old in July. Pm for more info
Friendly reminder coming into summer ☀️
1. Be cautious of the hot weather, heat strokes can happen! Be aware of signs of heat stroke (lethargy, vomiting, red gums, drooling, seizures, weakness,)
2. Train near water if possible to ensure your dog can cool down when needed. If you’re not able to get your dog in water then bring some water with you!
3. Keep sessions short and utilize the shade
4. Train in the coolest parts of the day. (Morning and evening)
Make sure to keep us in mind this summer for any of your boarding needs!! Rates $30/per dog/per day!

Huge strides with Raven! 2 months ago she wouldn’t leave my side, very clingy and not confident enough to range out. I’ve spent many many training sessions of just sprinkling dog food in the yard, fields, woods ect just trying to get her comfortable with being away from me. Every dog is different, it’s not always sunshine and rainbows when it comes to training. You take the little victories and try to build off them. We still have a ways to go but I’m super proud of her growth!
I’ve been on a roller coaster ride with Mila over the past couple years trying to figure her out. She’s always been a great competitor and consistent in her runs, but I could tell that the past couple of years her heart hasn’t been fully in it every day. I got to the point I just didn’t wanna run her competitively, it was frustrating as a trainer and disheartening as her owner watching her not enjoy herself in a way I know she can. I was unsure if it was hormonal issues from breeding and heat cycles, or maybe the brand of dog food, potentially bein burnt out, etc 🤷🏼♂️ I switched her over to Inukshuk Professional Dog Food back in January and have been working her minimally on antlers besides actual wild shed hunting. The past couple months since her last cycle has passed and hormones have dissipated I’ve noticed she’s hittin on all cylinders and showing me that her heart is back in it. I’m going to schedule her to get spayed this summer and hopefully that will clear up any of the hormonal issues if any of that has been part of her behavior. For now, I’m enjoying seeing my Mila girl back in action and rippin it! Turn n burn baby!!!

TGIF! I’ve been busier than a one legged man in an a** kickin contest lately. Between shed hunting and teaching these dogs how to behave it’s been crazy but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Have a good weekend guys! Featured in this video is River, he’s gone from 100+lbs of brute force to being a puppet on a string! Sure love seein his progress!

Scout and Eve are here for a little tune up before shed season. One thing we have been working on is teaching Eve to honor Scout whenever Scout finds an antler. In a typical situation Eve would run up and take it out of Scouts mouth. I think we are makin some headway with it!
