Just an fyi—

We have no interest in placing puppies in situations that we feel will even *potentially* be a bad fit. What that means is, if we’re not able to identify a puppy that we feel confident will suit your needs, we will send your deposit back or switch you to a different litter. We don’t want your experience with a puppy from us to be something you “suffer through” in an attempt to make it work/fit your needs. All the money in the world is not worth the stress that comes along with a poor match, in our opinion. We breed these dogs because we are insanely passionate about them and heavily invested in the continued success of our program.

I’m currently in a position where I can focus nearly all of my time and attention on properly raising and evaluating puppies. I consider this to be a great gift, because although it’s a ton of work (physically/mentally/emotionally), I absolutely love it. These puppies bring me great joy and seeing them thrive with their new handlers is extremely rewarding.

We’ve started solo ‘field trips’ around the property! Not only for exposure, but also to assess how they operate in the world as individuals, at this age. We’re looking at things like: rate of acclimation to a novel area, willingness to explore, engagement with humans, awareness of and reaction to stimuli, etc.

We’ve replaced the whelping box for Ff and Gg litters with a RuffLand crate! This is a great, low pressure way to introduce crate training. The puppies are consistently keeping their heated indoor area clean, using a doggy door to their turfed area for potty breaks 🙌🏼

Genetics are really important, but so is appropriate exposure, which should begin with the breeder. Sure it’s possible genetics can carry a dog through without the extra effort from the breeder, but why not stack the odds in favor?

Our reservation list for the current litters is officially CLOSED 🚫

As usual, we still welcome inquiries and we will maintain a “wait list” for those that are interested in case a spot opens up.

We are holding back 2-3 for observation, development, and possible inclusion in our program. These *may* become available as started young dogs at a later date.

Our next litter should be late summer 2025 — we will be repeating Orso x Zola for a 4th, and likely final, time.

Etna Della Fuoco (Orso x Alessia 1.0)

Everything we hoped to get from this combination somehow played out perfectly in this puppy, the result of generations of informed & intentional linebreeding. Super drive in all areas, but still has a 🧠. Meticulously clean (has never had an accident in the crate), socially appropriate with all types of dogs, social/socially neutral to strangers. Just the right amount of hardness, highly intelligent, beautiful bones, strong in body & mind.

Happy 4 week birthday to Ff and Gg litters! We had a little party and they got to meet eachother for the first time today 🥳
