I was going to head into work this morning before my surgery this afternoon, but I'm going to take this as an omen that I should stay home (not my car luckily, this is my friend's driveway on my first stop this morning, the car seems to be OK). To everyone in Southern California, please stay safe!! These winds are incredibly scary, driving home last night was like driving in a sand and rock storm. The fires are absolutely horrific and my heart hurts for everyone who has been injured or lost their home.

With the storms back east I was originally going to just suspend shipping back east, but with planes and semis having trouble in CA currently I'm just going to suspend all shipments until next week, it's just not worth the risk. I hope this terrible weather lets up soon for everyone, and I'll get the boxes out next week 🌿

Unfortunately I ended up sick over the holidays, so we're having to close the store today. We'll be open Saturday though...

Due to holidays and doctors appts I'm having to shift the store hours a bit. This week we will be open Tues, Weds, and Saturday but closed Thursday, and the following week we will be closed Wednesday but open Thursday and Saturday. We're bringing classes back this month at the warehouse! Starting off on December 15th with our Into to Terrarium Cloches, and then the following week with our mounted orchid and moss wall terrarium classes. It's exhausting work shopping for frogs! If you get hungry, make sure to head to the back tents where Anh will be selling her delicious panna cotta to support her kids volleyball fundraiser. Flavors are vanilla with lemon curd, green tea with berries, and vanilla with berries, all for only $5 a cup!!

Mark your calendars and come early next Saturday to hear Andy talk about dart frog care and answer any questions you have! This will be in the large pop up tent behind the warehouse starting at 9 am, but please walk around the building to get to the tent since vendors will be using the front door to set up. We're looking forward to seeing everyone next week!!

Andy has been a staple in our local dart frog community for over a decade! He's always happy to help educate new keepers and is nice enough to help me out with our dart frog care seminars and for that I'm incredibly grateful ❤️ He's doing another talk and answering questions next Saturday morning before our Frog Fest, so make sure to come early and head to the pop up tent behind the warehouse to get some great care and breeding info!

This will be the first time Treefrog Connection will get to vend at Frog Fest!! I vend with Jay Ondras all over the country, but never at my own show, so I'm glad he finally moved closer to us in SoCal 😊 He has an incredible assortment of some incredibly rare tree frogs you won't find elsewhere, so make sure to check him out!

Frog Fest is coming up fast and we have a completely full vendor list! We're having auctions in the back tent at noon for USARK and also one of our favorite frog conservation groups. We will also have a food area out back with pizza and panna cotta available for purchase, so you can come grab a snack before joining the auction 😊 There is free entry as always, but please bring donations or money to bid on the auctions if you would like to help give back to our community. Keep an eye on the Instagram page for more of our vendor spotlights leading up to the show! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!!

We're vending at the Reptile Super Show at the Pomona fairground this weekend. Lots of great plants in our 4" four for $20, Swiss cheese and money plant, Hoya tricolor and variegated macrophylla, zebra plant, crotons, Alocasia Bambino and Pink Dragon. 2" house plants are 4 for $12. Our big show special is Philodendron Pink Princess for $25 each, get them while they last!!

We had our first frog show this past weekend in Fountain Valley, CA! Lots of dart frogs, treefrogs, and newts to be found, plus loads of plants and supplies.
