Meet Sweet Dee,
Sweet Dee is formally Autumn. This super sweet special girl would be a great addition to any family. She is currently about 5 months old. Sweet Dee was found in an abandoned home in the Aurora area and landed at a local shelter. We have talked to our vets in regards to her leg and currently unless she starts having pain there isn't much of anything that can be done for her leg. But don't let that fool you she is a perfectly happy pain free puppy and is as active as any puppy should be. Later in life she could potentially need meds or surgery but it really depends on how she handles her leg. Currently nothing can be done until her growth plates close at the very least. Sweet Dee is picking up quickly on obedience and no issues in the house. She gets along great with other dogs and kids. She would truly make the perfect addition to any home.

Butters is still looking for his forever home. He is a super sweet smart boy that is eager to please. We were shocked by his DNA results to say the least to find out he’s not a Doberman Rotti mix after all he is a Pit, Staffi, Pry, Greyhound, Border collie Mix - we have sent off a different DNA test for fun to see if it comes back the same.

Sable has been adopted 1.11.25

Meet Sable,
Sable found herself at a local shelter not once but 3 times after being adopted twice and returned. Sable is a super sweet energetic girl that is not quiet 2 years old yet. She is very much a puppy with her energy and will need a home that knows dobermans and no kids under the age of 10 due to her mouthiness. Sable learned several commands with her original owner though lost her training being in the shelter but after she decompresses from everything she has been through over the last month she should pick up where she left off. Sable will only respond to R+ training as adverse training she will give adverse reactions to.
Currently we are working on her with cats and other dogs. She has done fine with other dogs in the past but this is the first time she will be with cats.

To adopt Sable you will need to have a trainer in mind to continue her training with to get her back on track to the dog she started off being.

Sable needs to be on a diet that does not contain poultry.

All the puppies we fostered thru the rescue while he was walking this earth he had a huge part in training while they stayed with us. Meet Bella,
Bella is a 1 yr old Doberdoodle. She hasn't had the easiest life so far. She originally was adopted from a local shelter here in CO and then found herself in another local shelter months after her original adoption. Bella is looking for a special owner that will work with a trainer to help her gain the confidence she needs around people. She is a true velcro girl and once you earn her trust she will bond to you. She is good with other dogs large and small and good with cats that are savvy around dogs. Bella does know several basic commands already like sit and down. But she never found the social aspect with people like she has other animals. Due to her being shy Bella would not be good in a home with small children under the age of at least 10. NO she is not hypoallergenic even with being a doodle. Doodles are not hypoallergenic. Bella is going to make a special person a wonderful dog.

Jolene is almost done with her heart worm treatment we hope! She has had all 3 injections so later this month she will have a heartworm test, her heart checked and if all cleared she will be ready for spay and her forever home!!! Saddened update: This morning we didn't get the news we would like. Neon passed away at the vet this morning after he was rushed to the vet by our rescue partner. He was in congestive heart failure with a heart rate of over 200 that couldn't be controlled, he was bleeding internally from some place and went jaundice very quickly and unable to walk. He was not alone when he passed as our amazing rescue partner treats our dogs like their own until they are passed off to us from transport. All of us are sadden by this news but we could not let Neon aka Barley to us be in pain and suffer and it came on so suddenly. He got his freedom ride out of the shelter and was in a loving foster home for 48 hrs. Meet Barley aka Neon, Barley is in not so great shape as you can tell. This sweet boy is currently in Houston and hopefully will arrive on April 5th. He is currently fighting a URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) and just having a rough go with it. Barley is estimated to be 7 years old and is over 100 lbs. Due to the condition of his skin and his weight we are already working on a Thyriod test now so that we get the results before we even see him here. He has tested negative for any type of mites through skin test so already ruled mange out. We will do whatever we need to do medically while he's in TX to get a head start on things but we can't do that without your help! Barley was found as a stray and no one came to look for him and had been at the shelter over a month and his time was about up to get him out and safe. Barley is already neutered so once he arrives and we have anything medical taken care of that he needs he will be ready for his forever home that will let him live out his golden years and show him what life is all about! Jolene's Puppies!!!! There is still several puppies available for adoption and they will be ready for their forever homes today!
