2025 price list:

All chicks are 15.00 each this year. Shipping fee's vary upon destination. There is a minimum of 10 to ship and 4 for local pick up. Transport is an option as well for chicks, grow outs and adult birds (when available) at buyers expense.
Chicks are all sold straight run unless specifically stated by me as s*xed.

Good morning everybody. The new 2025 hatching season is upon us. I have done some downsizing as well as added some new colors. Listed below is all the breeds and colors I will be offering this year. I also will be offering Hatching eggs. Shipping live chicks as we all know was a nightmare last year. I'm hoping the usps has corrected all their issue's for this year but that is yet to be determined. With that said I will encourage everybody that wants chicks shipped to pay the small amount it cost to add extra insurance to the shipment t of chicks. The postal service includes 100.00 in insurance for free but if your shipment is over that I suggest adding more insurance. All chicks will be shipped express only. Eggs will be priority or express upon buyers choice and payment. Chicks are shipped with heat pack and fruit. Eggs are shipped in foam shippers, and I will guarentee none are broke or damaged but can not guarentee hatch rate because we all know shipped eggs can be a gamble. So now let's meet the flocks!!!

Silkies

Paint, white and black. In regular and showgirl
I breed paint to black splits and paints, so offspring will be paint, black splits and white splits. So if you buy eggs you can possibly get all 3 colors. If you order 1 specific color from this pen there is no guarentee I can fill that order because I don't know what will hatch until it hatches, so I suggest ordering your favorite color but be willing to except a few other colors as well.

Cuckoo: in regular, showgirl, satin, and frizzle
In this pen there is mauve, chocolate and black. There again all 3 colors are possible when buying eggs and all 3 colors are possible when ordering chicks.

Mottled: in regular and showgirl, and frizzle
There is black and chocolate in this pen so both colors are possible when hatching eggs or ordering chicks.

White. You get all white from this pen in regular no showgirls

Chocolate and mauve: regular and showgirl
You can get both colors in eggs and chicks as well as regular and showgirls

Splash: regular and showgirl
In this pen you can get splash or blue from eggs and chicks as well as regular and showgirl chicks

Buff: regular and showgirl.
In this pen you can get regular or showgirl in chicks and hatching eggs. Unfortunately it will me May or June before these are offered due to young rooster growing out.

Mille fluer d'uccle
In this pen there is smooth d'uccle only no frizzles all chicks will be mille

Tolbunt polish: frizzle and smooth
In this pen you have a chance of frizzle and smooth in all offspring

Silver laced and chocolate silver laced polish: frizzle and smooth
I have 2 pens of these, both pens have silver laced roosters and silver laced and chocolate silver laced hens. So with these pens you will get both silver laced and chocolate silver laced offspring from eggs and when ordering chicks. If you order just chocolate there may be a chance I can not fill your order due to what hatches is unsure until it hatches. Could be silver laced, could be silver laced carrying chocolate or could be chocolate.

Took some pictures of some of my frizzled chocolate silver laced polish girls today. They are sooo fluffy...lol...they can't see 6 inches in front of themselves and walk right into me then freak out cause they walked into something. Haircuts are coming but wanted to get pictures 1st. Excited to get babies from these beauties this year.

Happy new year everybody!!!! I usually do my new years breeder list post on the 1st but I have covid and feel like poo, so I'm going to be doing it this Saturday. Going to do a few new years auctions for some nice silkie pullets I have available. These beauties will be for pick up or transport via a transporter hired by the buyer. Shipping is not offered on these. The auction will end at noon Saturday January the 4th. All birds do have a set reserve and I will make a notification when the reserve has been met. Bids will be accepted in increments of 5.00. Payment and pick up or transport arrangements are due from the winning bidder at the end of the auction. Let's get ready to have some fun!!!!!

Not chickens, but my daughter is wanting to rehome her 3 ferrets, 2 boys and 1 girl. The kids have lost interest in them and no longer help to care for them, so she has decided to find them a new home. They come with the large ferret cage and accessories. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!! We are excited for a new year of breeding and hatching babies here at Satin and Silk. We have added new colors and new bloodlines to improve our breeding program even more. Below is a list of breeds and colors we will be offering this year along with our policies. Silkie colors in standard and showgirl, some will be frizzled as well: Paint White Black Splash Mauve Blue Chocolate Chocolate splash Cuckoo Crele Partridge Buff Polish colors and all colors have chance of frizzle... Tolbunt Silver laced Silver laced chocolate Candy corn Buff laced Calico Cochins with chance of frizzle Mille fluer d'uccle I will be making lists so feel free to contact me with your pre-orders. We do ship our chicks anywhere in the US except Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping fee's vary depending on location. Usually between 25.00-45.00 per box of 15-18 chicks. Bigger boxes of 30-36 will be slightly higher in fee's. Chick prices are 10.00-15.00 depending on breed and color except Silver laced chocolate polish, they are 25.00 each. They are very rare. We guarentee live arrival on our shipped chicks as long as they are picked up within 2 hours of arrival to your post office. We also guarentee health of all chicks shipped or local pick up for 24 hours after you take possession. Pictures of deceased chicks will be requested as well as your brooder set up, as we can not guarentee a chick if housing is not properly set up for them. We do ship our chicks with food and heat pack in a usps approved live poultry box. There is a minimum for shipping of 8 chicks. Payment for shipped chicks is expected before chicks can be shipped. When paying via money applications we prefer friends and family but if customer feels more secure sending goods and services a 3.5% fee will be added to total.
