Fowler Feeders

Situated 35 miles southwest of Dodge City, 65 miles southeast of Garden City, and 50 miles northeast of Liberal, we show our cattle to three packer buyers every week. Within an hour drive of our yard there are four slaughterhouses. We provide an excellent place to feed and market cattle. We are owned by six cattlemen, who all feed here on a regular basis. Dr. Gary Bryant from Cattle Health Management is our consulting veterinary and Dr. Greg Catlett from Catlett Consulting, LLC is our consulting nutritionist. Rick Jewell and Jeff Gibson from R & E Cattle Company provide us with our cash marketing cattle sales, as well as some innovative marketing methods. The feedyard was originally a small family operation starting in the early 60's. It continued to grow then took on partners in the 80's and became Fowler Feeders, Inc. In 2007 our ownership changed completely and we became Fowler Feeders, LLC. Our latest expansion in the early 90's increased the capacity to our current of 15,000 head. We have acquired irrigated crop land which we use for wheat pasture grazing for customers. We are looking forward to the future and challenges & opportunities that it will bring.
