Reno had quite the morning with a lineup of experts stopping by to figure out his allergies! The allergist/dermatologist and vets worked together to test him for his triggers—and the results were a bit surprising. Turns out, Reno is allergic to some unexpected things, including humans and cats!

Our Final Goodbye Today🤍 We laid Maxi to rest. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but we know in our hearts it was the right decision for her. She spent her final moments surrounded by the love of close to 15 people who came to see her, just as she deserved. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in the countless memories she gave us—her gentle nuzzles, her patient teaching, and the special bond she had with each rider she worked with. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, shared stories, or sent their support. It means the world to us, and it reminds us of how deeply Maxi touched so many lives. Her absence leaves a hole in our hearts, but we find solace knowing she’s free from pain. Rest in peace, sweet Maxi. You will forever be in our hearts, running free in greener pastures. A special thank you to Mira at Ever After Photography for capturing these precious moments. And an extra special thank you to Dr. Bo and Ms. Corey Rocky Bay Equine Veterinary Clinic for making the day so peaceful!

Do you love working with horses? We’re looking for dedicated individuals to help with horse feedings and cleanings at
Fox Island Equestrian

Positions: cleaning/feeding

Shifts available:
Sunday AM shift
(start between 6:30/8:00AM)
Sunday Lunch shift
(start between 11:30/12:30PM)
Tuesday AM shift
(start between 6:30/8:00AM)
Wednesday AM shift
(start between 6:30/8:00AM)

Hours: 2 hour shifts
Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Responsibilities:
- Feeding and replenishing waters
- Cleaning stalls and paddock spaces to help maintain a clean stable environment
- Assisting with turnout and bringing horses in from the pasture
- Monitoring the health and well-being of the horses

Requirements:
- Previous experience with horses is preferred, but willing to train
- Must be comfortable working closely with horses
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Reliable, responsible, and caring
