I miss these guys! This is Lily and Teddy. Lily the Pit mix was chained to a fence for the first 8 years of her life. Due to the abuse and neglect, her back legs never grew properly and she has a hard time supporting her body and cannot climb down any stairs. Even though this happened to Lily, she is the sweetest, loving, happiest girl that loves everyone! She was rescued by an amazing couple in Michigan. I was lucky enough to watch them for the day at our Doggie Daycare, while her owners were in Massachusetts on vacation and went to Martha's Vineyard for the day!

This is just proof that dogs of any breed can be Rehabilitated no matter what they go through in their lives and we need to stop blaming the breeds and the dogs and start holding the terrible people responsible for inflicting such cruelty on animals.

We need to speak up for those who can't speak for themselves!
