Today, I visited the new bin at Project Pet Pantry, as I have a lot to donate from my doggy who recently crossed the rainbow bridge. 💔 It was so hard to part with some items, yet I know they will be used by other doggies who need them.

Currently, there is a compartment filled with disposable and washable diapers, a compartment filled with treats, pill pockets, probiotics & nail clippers, and a compartment filled with clothing, leashes, collars, and a soft ring to use in place of a hard, plastic "cone of shame". The bottom of the bin contains various food products.

I will be visiting each week with more products. I have a lot to share. Having Project Pet Pantry available feels good, and knowing that my little Scout was part of the process of its creation, makes it even more special.

I am overwhelmed by all of the love and kindness you have surrounded me with during this challenging time. Please know that every message, every phone call, and every email has meant the world to me. In all honesty, I am having a really difficult time. Over the weekend, I was blessed to be able to immerse myself in my animal care visits. There is nothing more healing than being with a sweet, loving animal. Thank you for sharing your love and your beautiful furry family members with me. They will definitely be the recipients of all this extra love I have. I am so fortunate to have my amazing Tammy's Pet Sitting family. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. 🩷

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share that we lost our doggy, Scout last night. The past (almost ) 17 years with him were such a blessing. He went blind suddenly overnight about 7 years ago. Two weeks later, he lost his littermate, Trooper. Scout was the strong one who got me through all of that

In more recent years, my life has been completely devoted to Scout and his care.

I woke up this morning feeling lost and empty. I will have to learn how to live my life again. Everything I did and every decision I made was based on Scout and his comfort, due to his anxiety.

To say I am devastated would be an understatement. I am not really ready to have any conversations, yet I wanted to share, as I consider Tammy's Pet Sitting to be like a second family to me.

I love you my sweet Scoutie boy. You will forever be in my heart. 🩷
