Wishing our founders and CEO’s a very Happy Anniversary.
Aric and Emily Harris were married inside of a K9 Training Center, as opposed to a traditional church or garden. They’re such hardcore WORKING DOG people that they have often spent their anniversaries or birthdays at K9 trials or seminars.

Happy Anniversary to The Iron Canine Queen and King.

WOMEN’S WORKING DOG WEDNESDAY
I have to brag on these three women featured in the photos.

Ashley is the embodiment of professional, grit and work ethic. You’re most likely to spot Ashley and her German Shepherd “Wick” training with us in rainstorms, tornadoes, or snowstorms. True story, she and I met on Christmas morning in the sleet and freezing rain to train a few drills.
Young people won’t find a better example and role model of grit and determination than they will in Ashley.
Rachel is one of the most downright courteous, thoughtful and intelligent woman out there. She is a master of multi tasking! We commonly see her jumping in and assisting Trial hosts or fellow training groups with anything needed at that moment. From paperwork, setting up jumps, loaning a complete stranger K9 equipment, to being present for our own teams every need; you can count on Rachel to be there!
Ava is no stranger to hard work, dedication and a commitment to excellence. She has been spotted in plenty of bad weather day training sessions, herself!
Always eager to support the team and ready to dote over her German Shepherds (Zaco, Zia, Zarrek, and sometimes Tobi), Ava brings a kind and joyful energy to the group. Her sportsmanship on both the Trial field and the training camp is without a doubt, inspiring. More than once, I’ve witnessed her helping out newcomers to the working dog world with words of encouragement or acts of kindness.
These three women recently traveled to New Jersey to compete in a WDA competition, driving 12 hours through constant rain and wind to get there. Proudly all three placed within points of each other, earning three new Police Dog titles and snagging a couple trophies in the process!

German Shepherd brothers “Zarrek” callsign “Z-Bomb, and “Ares” callsign “War Hound” are heading back to Kentucky after traveling to New Jersey to compete and earn their Police Dog lvl 1 Titles. Happy to report that they did very well!
