HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY to our very own “Dusty”
Dusty is an absolute ambassador here in our family. Meeting dogs and people from around the entire world and greeting them with his signature front leg hops, Dusty leaves a lasting impression of warmth and joy everywhere he goes. Our youngest son, David, has taken Dusty to trade shows, seminars and vacations all over the United States. They are inseparable!

2025 "Leashes and Beaches" K9 Skills Competition results.
Proud to say that Zarrek did very well. This was our first year attending, so we didn’t know quite what to expect. However we still managed to place 2nd in the Obstacle course with a time of 1:17. We placed 2nd in the hardest hitting K9. We placed 2nd in the obedience course. We placed 1st in the Fastest K9. And lastly, we took home the “Top Dog” Trophy! The “Top Dog” is essentially their version of a High in Trial trophy.

Zarrek and I also have the very distinct honor of being the only team (of 30+) that opted to run off lead.
The North Myrtle Beach Police Department put on one heck of an event. From their honor guard, to the opening prayer ceremony; you could feel the pride and professionalism that they poured into this public event.

We look forward to attending next year!

Formally introducing “Legacy”
She is owned by our great friends down in Texas, Canyon K9 Training LLC to add to their training family down there. She will be wintering with us in Kentucky getting a quick jump on training. I have a few of our “C” litter German Shepherd puppies (which are 1.5 weeks older) in board and training programs with us, so the timing for “working pup school” works out flawlessly!
Our wonderful friends at Z Tykev Vino German Shepherds are the professionals behind producing such a beautiful German Shepherd, with an incredible temperament and awesome work ethic.
Keep your eyes out for Legacy and our other German Shepherd puppies as they embark on their training journeys!
