Well we had one heck of a turn out today!

The field will be closed the rest of the weekend.

There are still some unripe berries out there. We will update the field conditions for you early next week to see if we will be open any days next week.

The “official” Kentucky Derby watch party at Slager’s in Brookfield is canceled due to lack of attendance. However, ALL horsemen are still welcome to join the regulars and cheer on their favorite jockey and thoroughbred!!!

My grandson Benjamin, my son Jimmy , my husband and I … groomed and curry brushed the winter hair off OkieDokie and Dude. Chestnuts got trimmed , hooves got picked , manes brushed 🐴 it was a great family event for my grandson❤️

May 4 Kentucky Derby Party🐴
Nicole 708-663-2983. Nicole Depatie will be hosting a 2024 Kentucky Derby watch party at Slager’s on 47th in Brookfield. The official party begins at 4:00pm on Saturday, May 04, 2024 but we are welcome all day. If you have any special drink requests for the cash bar, please let me know before May 01, so I can accommodate them. Please bring a dish to pass. I will be serving pulled pork sandwiches. Best hat wins a door prize!!! Both men and women are encouraged to participate.
