🚨🚨 A HEARTFELT UPDATE ON GINNY 🚨🚨
It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that Ginny, the resilient soul recently rescued, has sadly passed away due to the severe neglect she endured. Despite the efforts of the Waterville Veterinary Clinic, Ginny’s body could not overcome the hardships she faced.💔
Ginny was one of two cases of neglect recently reported in the City of Utica. Her story, alongside Clementine’s—who is now thriving in a loving foster home—reminds us why our mission at Rover’s Do Over is so vital. We remain committed to providing a second chance for animals like Ginny, offering them the care, safety, and love they deserve.
We urgently need foster homes to continue this life-saving work. By opening your home to a pet in need, you provide a nurturing environment where animals can heal, grow, and find their forever families. If you can foster, please apply here: roversdoover.com/foster
Meet Ginny, a resilient soul who was discovered wandering the streets, malnourished and emaciated, a heartbreaking victim of cruelty. Ginny is one of two cases of neglect reported this week in the City of Utica. Just yesterday, we welcomed the first of these cases, Clementine, into a loving foster home, where she is finally receiving the affection and care she so desperately deserves. Now, we turn our attention to Ginny, and we need your help to ensure she receives the same love and support! 🫶🏼
Ginny was rushed to Waterville Veterinary Clinic, where she is now on a carefully monitored refeeding schedule. What she needs most is a quiet, nurturing environment where she can decompress, heal from her past trauma, and discover the warmth of love for the first time. Despite the hardships she has faced, Ginny remains a sweet and gentle spirit, her tail still eager to wag. She may be scared, but her spirit is unbroken. ❤️
If you can provide Ginny with the safe haven she needs on her journey to a brighter future, please apply here: https://www.roversdoover.com/foster
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Utica Animal Control, the Utica Police Department, and Waterville Veterinary Clinic for their swift action in this matter. The Utica Police Department is actively searching for Ginny's previous owner, so if you have any information, please contact them at 315-223-3461. ☎️
