With her adorable face and full body wiggles, Raven is full of personality and charm. She’s that perfect mix of playful and affectionate — always ready for fun, but happiest when she’s with her people.

Raven would make a wonderful addition to a family and has done great with other pets. She’s social, sweet, and ready to be part of a home where she can grow, learn, and be loved.

🐾 Still Holding On to Hope 🐾

Hope has been through more than most dogs ever should.

She came into a local animal control after being hit by a car, injured and alone. But even through the pain and fear, she never lost her gentle spirit — and never stopped hoping someone would come for her.

Today, she’s healed physically, but she’s still waiting… for a foster or forever home to help her heal fully, inside and out.

Hope is kind, quiet, and sweet-natured. She doesn’t ask for much — just a safe space, a soft bed, and someone willing to give her the love she’s been missing.

She’s been overlooked time and time again, but we believe her person is out there — someone who sees her heart and wants to be her second chance.

Please help us get Hope out of the kennel and into a home where she can finally rest easy.

💔 Kyle is Still Waiting — But He Hasn’t Given Up 💔

Kyle is still in need of a foster or adoptive home, and our hearts break a little more each day he spends waiting.

It’s clear Kyle has been through a lot. His tail has multiple breaks, a quiet testament to a rough past. And yet — he still tries to wag it, even though it can barely move. That tiny effort says everything about this boy’s spirit. 💛

Despite what he’s endured, Kyle is sweet, gentle, and so deserving of a second chance. He just needs a soft place to land, someone with patience and kindness who can help him continue to heal — both physically and emotionally. Kyle loves other dogs and people!

Big News! 🍼🐾

Remember Betty, the very pregnant stray we urgently posted about last week? Thanks to the incredible support of this amazing community and one truly special foster family, Betty gave birth yesterday in the comfort and safety of a loving home ❤️

She welcomed 11 healthy puppies into the world! Eleven tiny lives that now have a chance to thrive, all because we came together to give their mama a safe place to land.

We’re overwhelmed with gratitude for Betty’s foster family, who opened their hearts and home when it mattered most. It’s because of people like them — and YOU — that stories like this are possible. This is the power of community. 🫶

As you can imagine, 11 puppies means a big need for supplies!

Gunner is a 4-year-old Corgi with a big personality and a heart ready to love — on his terms, of course! This short king is still looking for his perfect match, and we know they’re out there.

Gunner is looking for a kid-free, dog-free home where he can be the center of attention. He’s smart, spunky, and thrives with routine and structure. Corgi or herding breed experience is a huge plus — he’s not just a cute face, he’s a clever boy who loves to stay busy and engaged.

Roxy is currently stuck at animal control, one of many dogs in the facility that is bursting at the seams. But despite the chaos around her, Roxy is pure sunshine — happy, spunky, and ready to light up your life!

With her droopy eyes, playful energy, and joyful spirit, it’ll only take seconds for you to fall in love. In fact, we can already hear you saying it:
“Put her in the truck!”

This medium-sized sweetheart loves people, gets along great with other playful pups, and would make the perfect adventure buddy or couch companion.

In the spirit of Pride Month, we’re thrilled to introduce you to our most colorful crew yet — the Rainbow Puppies! 💖🧡💛💚💙💜

This vibrant litter of nine adorable pups got their names from one of our amazing volunteer’s daughters — and we think they’re just perfect!

Violet, Indigo, Grey, Navy, Onyx, Blue, Periwinkle, Scarlette, and Coral 💕

These little cuties are currently 6 weeks old and will be ready to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks — but we’re accepting applications now and will begin meet-and-greets next week to start lining up homes!

🐾 Meet Scout & Boone – Two Couch Hounds Looking for a Fresh Start 🐾

Scout (female) and Boone (male) are two beautiful Treeing Walker Coonhounds, each about 4 years old, who are in search of their next chapter — but this time, in separate homes.

While they’ve spent time together, they each deserve a space to shine on their own. We are looking to place them individually in either foster or adoptive homes.

Both Scout and Boone have previously lived with other dogs and kids and were lovingly described as total “couch hounds” — relaxed, snuggly, and happy to lounge the day away with their humans.

They do experience some anxiety, so they’ll thrive best with patient, understanding families who can give them time, structure, and lots of TLC as they settle in. A calm home and a steady routine will go a long way in helping them feel safe and secure.

If you’ve got a soft spot for hounds and a little extra room on your couch (and in your heart), Scout or Boone might just be your perfect match. 💛

💖 Evie is Still Waiting… Could She Be the One for You? 💖

Sweet Evie is still on the lookout for her forever family, and we can’t believe she hasn’t been scooped up yet!

This 2-year-old beauty is the total package — affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s right by your side. She’s a true Velcro dog who loves her people deeply and is always ready to snuggle, walk, or just hang out wherever you are.

Evie would do best as your one and only — no other pets, please! She’s working on her social skills and doing great with slow, appropriate introductions to other dogs, and she’s also learning to coexist with cats. But she truly shines when she’s the center of attention.

Evie has so much love to give — she just needs a home where she can feel safe, loved, and home at last.

Right now, local shelters and animal controls are full — overflowing with good dogs who deserve so much more than a concrete floor and a kennel run.

As the weather gets warmer, more and more dogs are being picked up as strays. Some shelters are forced to turn people away. Others can’t — so the dogs wait. And wait. And while they wait, they decline — mentally, emotionally, physically.

But you can change that.

When you choose to foster or adopt, you become someone’s hero. You give a dog a safe place to land, a soft bed, a kind hand, and a fresh start. You help them heal. You help them grow. You help them become everything they were always meant to be.

Every dog in this post is currently at a local animal control or shelter, waiting for a chance to leave kennel life behind. They deserve more — and with your help, they can have it.

🐾 Roscoe Needs a Gentle Hand and a Fresh Start 🐾

Meet Roscoe, a sweet 4-month-old pup who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. 💛

Roscoe is currently at our local animal control, and it’s clear he hasn’t had the easiest start to life. When we went to take his photo, he clung to the officers he’s come to trust — unsure of strangers, nervous about the leash, but brave enough to stick his whole face into the treat jar. 🐶💕

This shy little guy may have some fears and past trauma, but he’s also full of potential. With a patient, loving foster or forever home, we know Roscoe can blossom into the confident, happy dog he’s meant to be.

He just needs someone to believe in him — to give him time, kindness, and a chance.

We’d love to bring him into the RDO family, but we need your help to make that happen.
