✨ Vera’s Incredible Progress ✨

Our sweet Vera is doing better than we could have ever hoped! 🐾 She is adjusting to life as a tripod like an absolute pro — strong, resilient, and happier every single day. Just look at her go!

🥹💛This Friday, Vera will head back to Waterville Vet to have her stitches removed. As you can see in the video, she is already feeling so much better and her happiness shines through!

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Vera’s incredible foster family. 💕 They opened their hearts and home to her without hesitation, providing round-the-clock care and spoiling her rotten. Without fosters like them, we wouldn’t be able to save sweet souls like Vera. Our fosters truly are the backbone of Rover’s Do Over.

Back in July, Pete and his sibling were found wandering the streets of Utica—two little lost pups with severe skin infections and nowhere to call home. 💔 Fast forward to today and you’d never know the struggles he’s overcome. After lots of love and care, Pete is all healed up, handsome as ever, and ready to shine! ✨

At just 6 months old, this pit mix puppy is the perfect combo of stripes, spots, and pure silliness. His quirky patterned coat matches his goofy personality—and trust us, he’ll keep you laughing every single day. 🤪🐶

Found as a stray in the Waterville area, Boo has had a tough start, but this 2–3 year old pit mix is so easy to fall in love with. 💕 She may be shy at first, but once you meet her, you’ll see why everyone who spends time with her says she’s pure sweetness.

🎉 A Celebration for Lewinda! 🎉

Last night was nothing short of magical — Lewinda (“Lewy”) finally got her second chance! After nearly 6 months as the longest resident at a local animal control, Lewy walked out of her kennel and into the comfort of a foster home. 🥹💛

There were a lot of happy tears as this sweet girl settled in. Despite attending adoption events and having her photos shared time and time again, she was always overlooked… until yesterday evening, when the stars finally aligned for Lewy. ✨

Stories like Lewy’s remind us just how life-changing foster homes are. A dog in foster care gets to wait for their forever family in a stress-free, loving home instead of deteriorating mentally and physically in a kennel environment. Foster homes prevent behavioral and medical struggles from kennel stress — they truly give dogs the chance to shine. 🌟

Can you believe it? Out of a litter of 11 puppies, plus their mama… only Brielle & Birdie are still waiting for their happily ever after! 💔 Even their mom has been adopted, and now it’s their turn to shine.

Last week, Buddy said goodbye to animal control and hello to foster life—and let’s just say, he’s been thriving ever since! 🌟 His foster family can’t stop raving about what an amazing dog he is, and we think you’re about to fall in love too.
