Charlie would like everyone to know that he is proving himself to be a good boy!! We would like to report that his recent adventure with a foster family has gone really well! They said that he loves to play with their other dogs and sleeps well in his crate. He also likes to know what everyone in the house is up to! This curious boy is coming out of his shell. He will likely do best in a house with dog siblings, because he REALLY enjoys playtime!

MISSING CAT!!!!

Tripp, has gone missing. He has super soft black and white fur. He is missing 3/4 of one of his back paws so he walks/runs with a hop. He is SUPER friendly. He doesn't know a stranger. He will typically come when I call him. As my sister was leaving my house last night, he darted out. He very loved and missed this evening. He went missing from Meadow Glen Estates off Cardwell Ln.

We have discovered a game that Augustina loves. Augustina loves to climb up high and have you throw toy mice or soft balls for her to catch. Then, her favorite part is to knock the toy off & watch as you pick it up & toss it back up to her.

HAPPY TAIL! 🐾

"We adopted twice from LifeHouse 4 Animals. First was our Cody (aka Dakota) who we adopted in 2011. He was a Jack Russell/beagle mix and was 9 weeks old. He was a character and good little guy. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2023.

Then in 2011 we adopted Auggie (aka Joe). He and Cody became best pals. Auggie is a bulldog/pug mix we think. He was about 1 or 2 when we got him...thank you for filling our hearts with the love from these two furbabies!"

** Note: Auggie passed over the rainbow bridge after the original submission from Phyllis. He passed on 10/2/2025. Both Cody and Auggie were so loved.

Meet Callie at LIFE House for Animals

Callie is a beautiful four month old Australian Shepherd mix. She currently weighs around 25 pounds. She is a wiggly little girl who soaks up information like a sponge. She is going to be a fantastic adult, with the right direction!

We are going to use the funds donated thru the monetary link for vet expenses for our shelter guests. A $20-$25 donation can go a long way to providing the medical care our cats and dogs need before they go to their forever homes.

The LIFE House is looking for donations of cat trees! We know that you probably have a cat tree at home that may be past its peak BUT if it is structurally sound and not in horrible/nasty condition, we still want it. We can easily re-string it and we have volunteers who are very talented at this. We will use the donated cat trees for our cat guests at the shelter and we also will sell them (re-stringed) at our Peddlers Mall. Proceeds from the Peddlers Mall are used to benefit our community and education efforts as well as our shelter guests.

Sarah has not had any problem settling into the kitten room. Lucinda is so good at welcoming new kittens & taking them under her wing. Sarah is already looking up to Lucinda & following her around as she masters her new surroundings.
