Tomorrow night, September 17th, will be last Fit With Fido for the summer. Come out and spend some extra time with a dog- feel free to walk the neighborhood, go for a pup cup, pet store, or just spend some time at LIFE House. All of our dogs love the extra attention! We hope to see you tomorrow at 5:30!

🐾 We received these pics and quotes from Debbie Miles, a grateful adopter from 15 years ago who adopted her beloved Abby from us. Abby has recently passed over the rainbow bridge but Debbie wanted to share how special this dog was to her. 🌈

She wrote, "Abby was my constant for 15 years, my sidekick, my shadow, my world. We went through a lot together in 15 years. Abby loved life more than anyone I know. She loved all people, all dogs, all cats… she was the life of the party everywhere we went. She caused more destruction, caused more trouble and I loved her more for it. Because she was just always fun and could make me laugh."

Debbie concluded her email with this sentiment that I think many of us adopters from the LIFE House can relate to: "I am forever grateful to Betty who gave me that second chance, who gave me 15 years with my best friend. There will never be another Abby."

Looking for a furry roommate who's cooler than the other side of the pillow? This handsome grey gentleman is the definition of low-key awesomeness. At just 5 months old, Grayson has mastered the art of lounging, people watching, & being effortlessly cute.

Grayson has also taken on the mentor role among the kittens. He is the perfect big brother, as he watches over the younger kittens & teaches them the art of playing.

Grayson gets along with other cats & is curious about dogs.
