Here's a Happy Tail about Peanut, adopted from the LIFE House by Melody Miller and her family in 2017! 🐾

Melody writes:

"I first spotted Peanut on Life House's website in 2017. My husband and I had just gotten married and wanted to add to our family. When I initially inquired, the staff were hesitant because they felt he had too much trauma around men and wanted him to go to a female only house. I assured them my husband was different so they let us come meet him. I was out of the room when they initially let him in. Peanut barged into the room with his big personality and immediately ran up to my husband (who was sitting on the floor), jumped in his lap, and licked all over his face. We had been warned he didn't like beards and he didn't like hats. My husband had both. Needless to say he was ours. He's been with us through fostering a child and eventually adopting an infant. He's still hesitant around new people, but he has lived a full and happy life with people who adore him and tuck him in at night. Bonus that he has a tiny little bestie to take him on walks ❤️"

Isn't it so fun when a dog surprises you? We're so glad Peanut loves his momma, his daddy, and his tiny new best friend!

Lucinda is a quiet little observer with a heart full of curiosity. With her sleek tabby coat & striking Abyssinian features, she's not just beautiful - she's got personality all her own.

She may not be a lap cat (yet!), but she'll always be close by - whether it's curled up beside you on the couch or quietly keeping watch from a sunny window. Lucinda loves her independence but treasures your company just the same.

Her favorite pastimes? Chasing toy mice & batting toy balls around the room - string toys don't impress her, but anything she can pounce on & carry around is a hit!!!

Lucinda gets along with other cats & would thrive in a home with a feline friend or two.
