Today we lay to rest a legend, Dr. Bob Griffin Sr. "Doc Sr." As we called him. He always had the best stories, loved people and cared for animals. Doc could strike up a conversation with anyone and enjoyed sharing his stories with anyone willing to listen. His presence at the clinic is greatly missed. We treasured our time we had with him and are so thankful for the legacy he has left behind. Many clients have come in to say "He was my vet when I was a little kid!" We'd love to hear some stories from our clients. If you have one to share or a memory leave it below.

What an exciting weekend on call. You never know what you'll get on call during calving season. Dr. Stacy had 2 heifers present in labor at the same time. On examination of the first heifer, it was determined the calf was breach. This means the calf was butt first and the feet were not in the birth canal. The calf was adjusted so the feet were up in the birth canal and was delivered safely. The second heifer had a uterine torsion. This is where the uterus (with the calf in it) twists around so the calf cannot be delivered through the birth canal. A c-section was needed. Dr. Ashley came in to help. The calf and uterus were rotated and the calf was delivered safely. It was a successful team effort!
