Took Cinch and Juliet for a quick trip to the MASCUSA Nationals 2025. I was only able to go up for agility (hopefully next year I can go up for the whole week). Ended the 2 day trial with no Q’s with either dog, though both dogs had some of the best runs they have ever ran. For some reason neither dog wanted to weave which is very unusual, so I didn’t push it. The trip was still very successful! We got to see people/ dogs that we very rarely get to see, shopped, and got some wonderful pictures on the way. Already so excited for MASCUSA Nationals 2026!

Two-week puppy update. All eyes are awake, and they’re beginning to hear! They are also sitting up and attempting to walk. This is a bad time to try to take good pictures because I can’t use the light on my good camera, but they’re some gorgeous puppies no matter what!

2 girls (1 blue merle & 1 black tri) and 2 boys (2 blue merles).

We ran up to the KY fair grounds to chase some plastic bunnies!
Cinch tried CAT for the first time and ended up with 2 passing scores! It was really cool watching him strategically planning his actions when the lure was moving and changing directions.
Maple wasn’t sure what to think her first run of Fast CAT. She did figure it out her second run and earned 28.8 points towards her BCAT. She definitely has room for improvement and think we can get her time down by a lot (she is a little speed runner).
Juliet thought the plastic bunny was STUPID. LOL. Though there is still hope for her to run one day. She ended up running the second half of her second run by herself. I think she just needs to figure out the game!

Cinch and Juliet had a great weekend at the GSPCA Trial!
There was a ton of conflicts with running Open and Masters, which both dogs handled well.
Juliet ended the weekend with getting her first Open JWW’s Q and her second Open Standard Q. She is getting much more confident in the ring!
Cinch ended the weekend with 3/4 Q’s, which means Double Q # 7 and more MACH points.
Overall a wonderful weekend running this amazing sport.

Last weekend was the DCA/CKC Agility trial. Charm ended the weekend with 2 Master Jumper Qs and Cinch ended with 1 Jumper Q. I got my wisdom teeth out the Thursday before, so I’m super impressed with how they adapted to my not so good handling! Went to the horse park this weekend to let this guy chase the plastic bunny! He never disappoints me on how much he LOVES this sport!!! He averaged a 9.05 run time on 4 runs.
