Did you know that more pets go missing on July 4th than any other time of the year? They bolt from yards, homes, cars, backyard BBQs, and firework celebrations. Let’s change this now!

Join me in reimagining the way we celebrate! While fireworks may dazzle some, they pose a tragic risk for many, from our beloved pets to veterans and others who suffer from PTSD.

Keep your fur kids safe:

First and foremost, if you are attending firework displays—LEAVE your pets at home where they feel most secure. Or better yet…

Stay home and snuggle up indoors (don’t forget pet ID tags!) and shield them from the overwhelming noise.

Pets might resort to desperate measures to find safety, so take precautions—don’t leave gates and doors open, shut pets behind closed doors when answering the front door, crate and use a leash for more control.

Increase the ambient noise with soothing music or white noise to help drown out fireworks.

Close curtains to create a cozy and serene environment.

There are many natural calming remedies to help soothe an anxious pet’s nerves without reaching for pharmaceuticals with harmful side effects. It is very hard to recommend any particular one because every pet is unique. I’ve personally given my pups L-theanine, Bach’s Rescue Remedy, Melatonin, and CBD with varying degrees of success. I encourage you to do some research on any of the following: Valerian, L-Theanine, Bach’s Rescue Remedy, Calming treats and biscuits with a combination of calming supplements, CBD /H**p oil (which can also help with joint pain), and Melatonin. And PLEASE share your suggestions in the comments below!

Extreme anxiety cases may call for professional guidance‚ consult your veterinarian for prescription sedatives if necessary.

Let’s create a world where every celebration includes the happiness and security of EVERYONE, including our cherished pets. Together, we can make a difference. Choose love, choose safety, and make this year’s festivities a joyous occasion for all, both big and small! x0Amy

♡~Introducing my newest companion!~♡
This is my newest little buddy, a 3-legged American Toad named Beann~♡
(Well, the name on his birth certificate is Clay, but we call him Beann, lol)
I found him about 5 days ago, his missing leg was definitely an older injury, (thankfully) it was already healed by the time I found him. I thought he was just one of the coolest little dudes ever, and decided to adopt him to try and give him an easier life. He is a very smart, calm little dude. He likes to watch things moving around outside his enclosure, hop around on your lap, and hang out underneath his moss clump during the day. He is also an amazing hunter! Regardless of his missing leg, he is great at catching crickets. (when he's not letting them sit on his head instead, lol)
I already love this little guy so much, and look forward to having him around with me! I hope you like him too!~♡

♡~UPDATE ON MY SWEET TRICXSEY~♡

Yesterday, Tricxsey finally got her surgery to have her ruptured tumor removed! I am so grateful to have gotten her the medical care she needed! Thank you SOOOOO much to everyone who helped me afford it, I am beyond grateful for each person who contributed and cared about my baby girl! And I'm also insanely grateful to everyone at Arbitter Veterinary Hospital for taking care of her! She seems to be doing well, she's been drowsy but seems more at ease and hasn't been attempting to lick her wounds 24/7 anymore. I am so grateful for my baby's health betterment, thank you again so much to everyone involved! You all have been lifesavers! 💜🍀💜🍀💜🍀💜

❗⚠️❗IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR Pet Priorities Animal Services CLIENTS❗⚠️❗

🥳🌟🥳UPDATE: I completely forgot to update this Monday, but my cell phone is back to working! I am back to my regular accessibility through my (828)576-2508 cell number! Thank you all for your patience and understanding! Much love~♡🥳🌟🥳

Whelp... I did it again, I broke my phone yesterday (4/4/25) evening...😅😓
I will unfortunately be unreachable through my (828)576-2508 cell number. I'm currently borrowing a phone from my wonderful mom, so I should still be reachable through Facebook messenger (either my personal or business page's, it doesn't matter which), my email, and my home line; (828)369-8130. I also THANKFULLY still have access to, what I believe to be, an accurate version of my work schedule (or at least it's very close to up-to-date). I intend to try and take my phone to be fixed somewhere on Monday, but I'm not sure how it will go or how long it would take to fix it, if it can be.
(What happened was I had dropped it while on a call, and the screen stopped turning on. It still makes sounds and rings, but I can't see anything or interact with it. No cracks/shatters this time though👍)
I'm hopeful to not have to get a new one, but at least the SIM card was reasonabley new. I could probably continue using it and not have to change numbers again on a new phone.
I'm just so sorry for any inconveniences this causes, I really appreciate all of everyone's time and understanding, I am grateful for you all! Happy early Easter to everyone who celebrates, and a wonderful evening to all! Thank you!
