Hi Leslie!

Happy Belated birthday! 🎉

It’s been a busy January and I wanted to update you on Byrdie and Bear. We enjoyed the unexpected four inches of snow here in Florida while the puppies recovered from their surgeries. They both did great! They were far enough along in their healing to get a taste of the snow. I called them ‘snow cones’ and every time they put their head down, they scooped up some snow. They were mesmerized!

They continue to learn new tricks, enjoy each others company and develop their own personalities. Byrdie is still a little bigger weighing 10.5 pounds and Bear is 9.5pounds. Bear is a barker- he lets everyone know he’s a big boy on the inside. We are trying to work with him on that. He is still the first to get on my lap and give kisses. Byrdie likes to sit back and take it all in. Where Bear like a to run up his steps, Byrdie raises her paw to ask for a lift up. It’s really sweet.
