“Trap-Neuter-Return is successfully practiced in hundreds of communities and in every landscape and setting. It is exactly what it sounds like: Cats are humanely trapped and taken to a veterinarian to be neutered and vaccinated. After recovery, the cats are returned to their home, their colony outdoors.Because the cats can no longer reproduce, the colony has the potential to decline in size over time. Spaying and neutering also greatly reduce nuisance behavior. Once the cats are fixed, fighting, yowling and other noise associated with mating stops almost entirely. The foul odor caused by unaltered males spraying to mark territory disappears and the cats, no longer driven to mate, roam much less and become less visible. The cats themselves are healthier and less likely to spread feline diseases.”

A little before and after of sweet Shaggy. We had so much fun this morning with this handsome fella! By no fault of his own, Shaggy currently resides at the Williamson County Animal Center. He will soon be seeking his forever family. For a guy who's not had much (if any!) grooming experience in his life, he handled his makeover process exceedingly well. His ideal adopter will make sure he continues to see a kind and patient groomer monthly to maintain his beautiful coat and to continue to build confidence with grooming.

We are excited to introduce Amy, the newest member of the Flying Fur Mobile Grooming team! Amy has lived in Tennessee all her life and brings 16 years of grooming experience to our clients. She is a proud mom of two kids and loves spending her free time at their sporting events. Amy also has a big heart for animals, sharing her home with six dogs and one cat.
Amy has been with us for a week now, and while we've been busy filling her schedule from our waiting list, she still has a few monthly spots available in Spring Hill and Franklin. We're thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the exceptional care she'll provide to our furry clients!
