It’s always such a privilege when people entrust me with preserving their 1st deer! Big or small, buck or doe, I love the specialness that comes with it because you only get that once. A special memory to have for years to come that will be able to be shared with future generations. Good luck to all of the new hunters this upcoming season, may the buck fever be strong!

My favorite part of the Taxidermy process would have to be when it finally comes time to paint. I love watching the life come back into a piece as the colors are slowly built up and blended together. The finishing touches are when I can truly appreciate what I have created 😌
