These funds will go strictly towards offsetting traveling fees to and from the shows this year. These funds will be accessible to any student that rides with us on a weekly basis and travels with our team to shows this year.

Stressing about prepping for Christmas with kiddos running about?

We have you covered! In The Irons Equestrian Academy is offering a Christmas Mini Camp from 10AM to 2 PM Monday (23rd) and Tuesday (24th).

We will be doing Christmas crafts, riding lessons, Christmas Cookies, and other fun activities!

All for $40 per day or $75 for both days!

🐴 Client’s horse up for discussion 🐴

Who is looking for a fabulous trail pony? 🌳

Shadow is approximately 18 years of age. She stands approximately 13.2 hands tall and has beautiful color. I am assuming she is part Rocky Mountain/ QH, but is not gaited. She is the sweetest pony with no kick or bite, and will stand to be groomed all day long. She is good with farrier, bath, and loading.

Shadow would make an amazing trail pony and is beginner safe. She stalls well and pastures well with anyone (lower on the totem pole with my crew). This pony is unflappable and has not offered any nonsense.

Cons:
1) Shadow is only sound at the walk (currently). Her left stifle is sticky at the trot, etc. so we are advertising her as walk only prospect. She is comfortable at the walk and on trails.

2) She can be a bit gate sour when doing work in the arena. She does not do anything naughty just merely steers riders to the gate when walking by if they allow it.

Pros:
1) This pony is an easy keeper. Perfectly fine barefoot.

2) She has never offered to do anything hateful or naughty while at my facility.

3) She is a total doll and loves to be loved on.

4) Not messy in a stall.

5) Easy handle on her when ridden.

She is negotiable to the right situation and loving family.

Cute pony, Thor, is here for some additional training fortifying his groundwork and kid safeness. I think he is going to be such a sweet pony. First ride here on this horribly windy day and all I can say is I’m impressed with this little fellow. This guy has clearly had some trauma in his past and is head shy and gives the lunge whip the sneaky side eye no matter where it is at. This will be the main focus for this dude while he is here- to show him that people are not bad and he can again trust the masses. Maybe he will prompt a live session covering how to work a horse that has this kind of particular trauma- stay tuned 🤔
