Here are a few highlights from yesterday’s groundwork/c**t starting session with Whiskey Businezz, “Nicki,” our 2023 filly. I really enjoy working with her, she’s light and responsive yet calm and confident. Loving her progress so far!

HD IM Streakin Epic, a 2022 filly by the renowned Epic Leader out of a Streakin La Jolla daughter. This filly brings together some of the most sought-after bloodlines in the industry, and will be a standout in the barrel pen. She is extremely well broke, you can ride her bridleless, she doesn’t get fresh & is safe for just about anyone that knows how to ride. I’ve hauled her this year to see the sights and she’s been stalled and ridden in all different places from Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, etc.

At around 15h and built to perform, she’s light on her feet, soft in the bridle, and quick to learn. She’s been started on the pattern. She has forward movement and drive in her turns and knows how to stay under herself. She doesn’t get worked up, she has a sensible demeanor that’s mature beyond her age.
