This sweet snow savannah girl is just getting her color . Snow savannahs are born white and get color with age. You can see her spots and strips on her skin now but it has not yet made it to her fur. The first two pictures is her appearance now the 3rd and 4th are her sister from an earlier litter at 6 months of age. You can more easily see her potential by comparing the pictures of her at 7 weeks and a snow from the same crossing at 6 months

Meet Sweet Pea. She's an F6SBT Lynx point snow savannah I retained from Magi's litter in July. She was the runt and for sometime I questioned if she would make it. Obviously she has bloomed into a stunning girl in need of a very special couch. Although I would love to make her mine I really need to think of her long term happiness.

As 2023 comes to a close I take this opportunity to wish all our Belle Hollow families a Very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
It has been a long year with much adversity in the world. Inflation has taken a toll on so many people, families and businesses including our own. Quality pet foods and chicken used for raw diets has increased pretty dramatically over the past 2 years along with all the other supplies needed to raise happy healthy fur babies. The cost of fuel to meet our families and their flights for pickup have gone up a bunch as well. There is much unrest in the world as well.
That aside we at Belle Hollow are about to enter our 20th year of breeding sweet loving kittens. I will see my 70th birthday this year and our original serval “Jeffree” will be 20 years old as well. As usual, we mourn the loss of beloved pets both ours and those of our Belle Hollow family but now we are beginning to see some of our original first generation savannahs pass from simply “OLD AGE”. It’s hard to see my beloved and often hand raised kittens fade into the night knowing that this fate awaits us all. All and all however I look forward to the New Year and the spring for new life. We must look to the future or we will be lost in the past. Many sweet babies to come and new children to delight in their new pets, empty nesters (like us) need new fur children to love. We must move forward knowing that all things are possible in love and faith.
In closing I hope this message finds you and yours happy and healthy and leaning into the new year. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may he make his face shine upon you and give you peace.

UPDATE. The two Maus are home here at Belle Hollow and will be looking for a new permanent home. Right now they are still a little traumatized from the trip but they appear to be healthy if not a little overweight. They will see our Vet next week and we will evaluate their temperaments to see what kind of home they can be placed in. They must be placed together. I am sickened this morning having received a call from the owners of 2 Belle Hollow Maus soon to be age 8 years. These people now have 2 children under the age of 3 and they just don't have time for their cats and want rid of them. The cats are well behaved, use a litter robot and apparently eat from and automatic feeder but they are just too much trouble for this young family to continue to care for them. I have told them to return them here to the farm and I will find them a new home. Like old furniture these sweet pets are just "Throw Aways". It's hard to have any faith in my own species sometimes!
