3C Poodles Striving to raise healthy and happy AKC Miniature Poodles to fill your hearts and home with joy! My mom raised Great Pyrenees and Bearded Collies.

I grew up in a large family, 15 kids, and actively participated in showing dogs and doing obedience training with them. My dog was a Bearded Collie. I enjoyed going to events with her, and winning ribbons. We we had our own children, we quickly learned our 2nd child had a lot of allergies, and and owning a dog wasn’t an option for that season. Fast forward a few years, and God blessed us with our

first poodle which we discovered to the children’s delight didn’t cause any breathing issues or reactions. We then added our 2nd poodle to the family as we realized they were a perfect fit for us, and now we are hoping to soon add a third. Our three children are teenagers now, and love having our poodles as part of the family. They are very active in socializing and loving the babjes we have been blessed to call ours. Our babies live in the house with us as family members, and while they are crate trained, they enjoy sleeping with us at night. Our little ones are raised right in the kitchen with us.

My fencing arrived today. Yes, it is meant to use as a playpen, but I bought it to separate the panels and use as barriers between rooms so I could keep my puppy close by during potty training. I wanted to make sure it arrived intact, and check and make sure it would work before picking our little lady up next week. That way if it didn’t, I would have time to order something else.

I have a couple of entry ways (wider than this) in various rooms. This will help me with avoiding carpet accidents as we train as most of the house is carpet.

Our house setup is completely different here, so I have spent hours reading reviews and trying to research options for something I coul use as puppy gates without attaching anything to the wall. I ordered today. I’m hoping it will do the trick! This way the puppy can have freedom without necessarily having access to carpeted areas. I’m hoping to use a couple of these sections fo free standing gates/barries between rooms that have wider openings.

Check-in time from the O. family.

“Still a year and a half later...Ruby is the biggest social butterfly and anyone she meets want to clone her and get a Ruby of their own. Honestly! She has the best temperament, is so sweet, loves everyone, and is so hyper...but a cute hyper:) She has such a fun/funny personality!”

Since we gave most of our items away when our dogs went to live with family with our move, I am shopping again! We are delighted to announce we have a precious little girl coming home in just a couple weeks. When we moved across the country last year, my heart broke in a million pieces to not be able to bring our dogs with us. It was not a decision we took lightly, but we were trying to make the best decision possible for them, not just for us. One of our girls went to live with a retired school teacher and live a life of companionship and ease in IL. The others went to live with family, and one went to a family friend. They all live in the country, although in a couple of different states. All have room to roam and play, and all live with families that have children to love and play with them too. While they are a couple different places, they have all been there for almost a year now, and well adjusted. While we still love them, and always will, rooting them up again isn’t fair, and while we will visit them, we will love them through visits.

This little lady has been called “Sparkle”
I’m considering leaving her name Sparkle, as she will bring a Sparkle of joy and life back to our house that has been missing.

Thankful for this blessing!
