3C Poodles Striving to raise healthy and happy AKC Miniature Poodles to fill your hearts and home with joy! My mom raised Great Pyrenees and Bearded Collies.

I grew up in a large family, 15 kids, and actively participated in showing dogs and doing obedience training with them. My dog was a Bearded Collie. I enjoyed going to events with her, and winning ribbons. We we had our own children, we quickly learned our 2nd child had a lot of allergies, and and owning a dog wasn’t an option for that season. Fast forward a few years, and God blessed us with our

first poodle which we discovered to the children’s delight didn’t cause any breathing issues or reactions. We then added our 2nd poodle to the family as we realized they were a perfect fit for us, and now we are hoping to soon add a third. Our three children are teenagers now, and love having our poodles as part of the family. They are very active in socializing and loving the babjes we have been blessed to call ours. Our babies live in the house with us as family members, and while they are crate trained, they enjoy sleeping with us at night. Our little ones are raised right in the kitchen with us.

Happy Birthday, Taylor!
Taylor was our first girl to retire from . She is the one who made me fall in love with poodles! Our son with asthma and allergies could handle her, and we found out we really could have a dog!

She is living the good life, and very loved.
Her family says, “She has as much energy as the day we brought her home.“ She likes her dog pool, and the boat, and loves sitting on her human’s laps!

3 miniature poodle puppies with us over Christmas! Where will they go next? Chicago? St Louis? Indianapolis? Cedar Rapids? Madison? Or somewhere in between? I just did temperament testing again today. I’m telling you! Someone wants to be a lap dog! One is full of adventure and looking for a good time! And the other is just so smart she can be trained to anything! What a sweetie.

I came across an old memory tonight when unpacking boxes. This picture was taking while showing/competing with my Bearded Collie years ago at a show with the Canadian Kennel Club. This was the first dog that was “mine”. I did obedience and confirmation showing with her. Our family’s love for dogs started many years ago!

Torch is off to his new home on the country with a beautiful family who will love him and give him lots of love of attention.

I don’t think he has been sad to be soaking up extra loving today. He certainly made my day brighter!

He has been chosen, and going to live with a great family we know, not to far from here.

I will miss him!

I cooked an egg for him this morning for breakfast, and have given him lots of attention. He made my life better by being part of it for the last 5 years. I love you Torch! ♥️💔
