Matting..... I had a client complain recently because I had to shave the dog due to matting. Shaving the dog is not my first choice, and its alot harder than just basic grooming. The matts are typically very close to the skin so you have to be very careful not to accidentally cut the dog while trying to remove all of the matt. Brushing out large matts is very uncomfortable for the dog, especially since that skin can be irritated, the responsible thing to do is shave the matt out. Matting can cause skin and health issues so it is important to brush your dog at least every couple of days especially if they have long hair or hair that tends to matt. A healthy dog is a happy dog.

Ive had a few dogs lately with a large buildup of eye debris (eye boogers) causing irritation underneath.

We've been working hard on getting the dog shack ready, so we're excited to announce opening day as Aug. 7, 2023. I've started to reach out to schedule meet and greets in July. Email me so I can send you a client info sheet to get you on the calendar. I will have 3 packages available, Wash & Fluff, Mini groom, and Full groom. We'll discuss pricing at the meet and greet. Nail trims... we all get scared of cutting them too short. There's a right way and a wrong way to show love to the nails, I can show you how. Nail trims will be part of my grooming packages but will also be ala carte, message me to get on the list for Aug scheduling.
