Happy Friday! Time to meet our next staff pet Layla!🐶 Layla is an 8 year old German Shepherd and is one of the sweetest dogs. Some of her favorite hobbies include playing with rocks, splashing around in her sprinkler, playing with her little sister Gracie and of course going for walks! Layla is also very into fashion and loves to dress up (as seen in her multiple outfits below!)

Meet our next staff pet of the week, Sandy!🐾 Sandy is owned by Dr. Marci and was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina. She came without manners and was incredibly active, so she fit right in with the Marci family. Sandy's favorite activities are pack walks and hiking with her friends Quinn, Roo, Riley, Baxter, Molly, DJ, Sadie, and Callaway where she can be seen creating chaos, wading in mud, begging for treats from strangers, and chasing deer and squirrels that she will never catch. She also enjoys time with her 4 feline household companions, and thinks no one notices when she shamefully polishes off every last morsel of their dry food. She is a loyal and devoted companion to Claire, Lauren, Joe, and Jack, but only when her mom is not around. She has trained her humans through her soulful eyes to think that begging for food is okay, as is sleeping on a pillow in bed, watching TV on the sofa, or littering the front yard with her toys that have had the squeakers mercilessly yanked out of them. She can hear the refrigerator door open from every level of the house, but feigns deafness when it is bath time. Her bark is deafening and fierce when a delivery man approaches, but waits patiently in the front yard everyday for her cookie from the mailman. She is adored by all that know her sweet face and gentle nudge, and has undeniably helped the family answer the question "who rescued who?".🐾🐶💕

Blue and Harper, our next two staff pets, are 2 peas in a pod!🫛 They love to venture up to New Hampshire with their Mom and Dad and enjoy the great outdoors. Blue was rescued from Puerto Rico (with a bullet in his leg!) and his favorite activity is finding the sunny spot in the house to nap☀️. Harper was found abandoned in Tennessee with her litter of puppies. She thinks nosework is the best sport ever and loves to put her sniffer to the test! Her second favorite activity is visiting Susan and Lois at the front desk for some cookies 🍪😋

(Fun fact: Blue’s dad had to bring him to Acorn to have surgery on his leg and that is how they met Mom and Harper!)

This is Rocco, our next featured staff pet! Rocco is a 6 year old husky mix and also goes by Rocky or Rockefeller (along with many other nicknames). Some of Rocco's favorite activities include waking up at 5:00am to go for a walk, going to the beach to dig holes, going on a boat with his mom, and playing soccer! Rocco is also quite the ladies man, and loves to come to daycare to play with all his girlfriends. Rocco is also happiest anytime he is with his mom❤️🐶🐾🏖

Brooke is our next staff pet of the week! She is an adorable rescue pup who loves coming to work with her mom, and playing with her friends at daycare! She also loves to hangout with her furry brother at home as well as her human brother and sister! One of her favorite activities is to stop at our front desk to get treats from the receptionists!🐾🐶

Meet Toby and Pandora, a couple more of our staff pets! They are brother and sister and have an inseparable bond🐱 Some of their favorite activities include sunbathing, chasing around their ball toys and playing with their feather wands! Another one of Pandora's favorite things to do is wake up her mom at 5:00am with a friendly swat on the head to let her know it's time to eat! One of their least favorite activities? Coming to work with their mom to get their nails trimmed with Becky (but they still love her)🤣🐈🐾
