Surround yourself with coaches that aren't afraid to have these tough conversations with you. You don't want or need a "cheerleader" coach. You are paying you for your coach’s expertise... the positives and the criticism. Let them help make the best decisions for your horse, and for your program. The lessons on the horse and the lessons off of the horse. Are you ready? Are you doing what is best by your horse? You owe it to yourself and the horse.

Newton County Saddle club awards banquet. Addison and Realyn cleaned up riding Bow last year. Addison and Bow had three Championships and three Reserve Championships. Realynn and a Bow did small fry and had an overall Championship and a 5th. Very proud of both of them. Thankful to Jeanne Oxley for letting them use Bow and represent Breezy Acres Farm.

Seriously, when you get real with logical, educated advise, they would rather be lied to. 2nd time in two months I have been blocked. " People don't want the truth. They have blinders on and they cheat themselves when they are not open to advise. I learn something new everyday and many times it is the hard way but I am trying to get better. Mainly at not helping those who aren't listening. Waste of my time. Really need to get my horse blog going on my Breezy Acres Farm website.

Lesson programs typically run 1 1/2 hours they include learning how to properly track and groom a horse. You will ride for an hour, 45 minutes of precision maneuvers and about 15 minutes of a cool down period. You then learn the proper way to care for a horse and tack after riding and prior to turn out. All to prepare you for horse owner ship and great communication for showing or trail riding. Private lessons start at $45. All disciplines are welcome, bring in your equine partner or ride one of our fantastic lesson horses. Jodie Jones 770-251-7814

I just love watching this horse and rider. Was on a rodeo last night. Best tight turns and happy about his job. Our best burners, were and are, built like this. Love the foundation Quarter horse build.

Enjoying Addison and her family. Sharing her mom, Tabatha Hill's, post. "Addison did great today in her horse show! She finished with three 1st place finishes, a 2nd place finish, and a 6th place. Extremely proud of her 2nd place finish in the walk/trot. This was an open division in which she competed against all ages including adult, she is only 8 and finished second which earned her a cash prize"
