Santa forgot to bring you that one thing you wanted the most: a dog. Well, the good news is you are an adult - and we can help you make this wish a reality.

If you are looking for a small package, we recommend Murdock (grey). He’s a 10 lb shih tzu/maltese with 6 years of experience. He comes with his best friend and soul mate, Lovie (in white). We can’t be sure if these two are litter mates, or if they just met and fell in love - but we can be sure they are looking for that happy ending of their rags to riches story.

Lola May is the girl who will fill your days with unconditional love and unending joy. The only regret you will have for saying yes to this beautiful pup is that you have to leave to go to work and can't spend the whole day just relaxing with this big ole head laying in your lap.

Curious about adopting a dog from Paws New England?

In a nutshell, here's how it works:
1️⃣ Submit your application: Identify a dog that seems like a good match for your family and submit an application on their website.
2️⃣ Your application is reviewed: Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and assessed for their suitability for the specific dog.
3️⃣ We get in touch: A coordinator will reach out within 48 hours to discuss the next steps. If the dog isn't a good match or is unavailable, they will suggest a better fit.
4️⃣ Application approval: They check your references, conduct an interview, and do a virtual home visit to ensure it’s a good fit.
5️⃣ Save a life: Once approved, you'll be ready to take home the dog and begin your new journey together.

I’ve been in rescue for 80 days—that’s almost 3 months—and not a single application. Not one. Zero. Zilch. Nada. But let me tell you: I’m so worth it.

I’m 2 years old, sweet as can be, and have the most gorgeous brownish-red coat and the happiest, goofiest personality. I know it’s too late to find my forever home in time for Christmas, but I’m really hoping to start the new year in New England. I can’t wait to see snow for the first time!

My life hasn’t been the easiest. I lost my caretaker unexpectedly, and I’m heartworm positive. I’m a little skittish with loud noises and new things, but I’m learning how to be brave—and I know I can do it with your help.

I adore people, I love playing with other dogs, and I’m ready to trust again with just a little patience and care. I’m also housetrained,sleep peacefully through the night, and I’ve never chewed anything that wasn’t mine.

I promise I’ll be your best friend, your cuddle buddy, and your loyal sidekick for all of life’s adventures. All I need is a little love, time, and the chance to show you just how amazing I can be.
