Franco/ Limit (USEF # 5696958) - If you are looking for a lovely packer type for a kid, junior or amateur this is your guy! Franco is an 8 year old imported KWPN gelding, 16.2 1/2 hands. He is handsome, knows his job, very sweet, extremely safe & comfortable + very tolerant of mistakes and will always try to get you to the other side. Uphill ride. He doesn’t care where he is, extremely well traveled, has shown at Brownland, Wellington, WEC Ocala, Tryon and at the Texas Rose Horse Park. Suitable from the 2’ and up, has shown up to 3’3” in the 15 and under Junior Hunters. He is happy to do any job, extremely versatile horse, has easy changes and requires basic prep at shows! Jackie - O / Kennedy (USEF # 6000827) - Packing 2’6” - 3 foot horse for a kid or adult available for 6 month lease while her mom is out of the saddle. Easy to live with and SO sweet. Competitive on the USEF circuit. Brave, brave, swaps leads, huge step, good jump, great canter, very comfortable & super trot mover. 12yr old, 16.1 registered and well bred appendix mare (Coats N Tails). More of a leg ride on the flat, carries you to the fences. Forgiving, a blast to ride and kind. We adore her! Will be extremely picky where she goes while on lease.

A cold but wonderful day as Miss Bee 🐝 has passed the baton to Gracie Lou 🩶!

Noone tells you how hard it is to watch a kid outgrow a pony that has given everything to teach a kid how fun riding can be & piloted him to great success. I wasn’t sure Liam would keep riding if he couldn’t ride the world’s best pony & I wasn’t sure I could find the perfect step up horse. The last few months have been HARD. Hard for a family to make decisions & hard for a trainer to give the nudge that it’s “time”.

[Insert Gracie]. In Liam’s words after riding Gracie “I bet this is what McLain Ward feels like when he rides his horses”. I think me and his mom knew the first ride, that this was the horse & somehow we had to make it happen.

With the happiest heart, I would like to Congratulate Liam & the Dhority family on the purchase of the most perfect creature in the barn, GRACED 🩶🎉! She has already won Liam’s heart & we are just getting started. A added bonus: I have been obsessed with this horse since the day I saw her in the UK & everyday since she has arrived at ATB. THRILLED she gets to stay & with the VERY best family.

✨Owners would love for this sweet pony to find a job! MOTIVATED! Excellent choice as a first pony! ⬅️⬅️ this pony has been a huge asset to my program the last year, she is such a good girl.

Darla / Little Rascal - 11yr old, medium pony mare. Lots of local show miles and wins with kids, eligible everything USEF. Perfect choice for the walk/trot - xrail job through short stirrup. Can absolutely do tiny kids and lunge line. Very sweet on the ground, easy to handle and always willing to do her job. No spook, no stop - will jump always. Does not have auto lead changes. A true all around type of pony, could do both rings. Would also make a great addition to any lesson program.

We are so excited to welcome CJ not only to Above the Bar Sport Horses but to the ARDERY family. I have been looking for a horse for my sweet mama for MONTHS… I woke up a few mornings ago at 5:00 am and said …. That is the one.

My mom does EVERYTHING for me & she is the most deserving of her very own. We have done horses together since I was born & I am so excited to provide CJ with his last forever home & my mom with her last horse to have the most fun on.

GRACED 🤍 - 13yr old, 16.1 1/2 imported KWPN mare. Excellent children’s/adult hunter that could derby. Easy to ride, great expression, big step, auto change, consistent, jumps well + good mover. Confidence builder that is kind & loves her job. Perfect creature for someone who wants one who can cruise around on auto pilot. Happily hacks out around the farm after lessons.

🩵 RETOUCHED - Quality young hunter/eq prospect. This lovely 5 year old, 16.3 gelding by Untouchable is a sweet, happy, gorgeous guy whom, most importantly has the best brain making him perfect for a junior or amateur to bring along in a program! LOVE HIM!

Currently competing in the baby greens & will be ready to step up to the 3 foot in no time. Huge step, comfortable, good lead changes, all of the chrome & a brain + manners that you can’t put a price tag on. Easy to get to the ring & doesn’t care at all about his environment inside or outside of the arena. Old soul, wants to please & do right. This is a lovely young hunter/eq horse that will be competitive at any venue in the future. Started slowly & correctly.

Congratulations to one of my own, on the purchase (or retaining) of Jackie-O/Plenty of Coats aka Kennedy! 🎉

I knew the second Taylor brought her to me & I sat on her that she was special & she has proven to be nothing less. This team will be one to watch for in the future & I know she will surpass all of our expectations.

Kennedy, you have massive shoes to fill but I know you will do it with grace, kindness & and a big heart that you could never put a price tag on.

The most interesting mares always find their way to my barn & I know they are here for a reason & a season - mares are my thing, everyone knows it. Salida was not exception .. except this time, this one gets to STAY.

The BIGGEST & HAPPIEST congratulations 🎉 going out to one of my own, Sarah Turbett and Dawn Turbett on the purchase of the lovely & beautiful, Salida 🤎

Sarah’s heart was set on a tall, dark & handsome gelding & to be honest, we weren’t really looking just yet but I walked in the barn and said “you need to try her, I don’t know why”. The rest is history. I am SO excited for Sarah & family to embark on this journey. Sarah shows up, puts in the work & has rode anything & everything I have put her on. To be able to have her own to devote time to & develop makes me so happy.

I have two ponies ready to go & make a kids holiday extra special 🎉🎄Motivated owners.

#1 - Cocomelon - 6yr old, imported top of the line medium pony gelding. This one is flashy (comes with a belly splash), impressive jump, big step that easily makes it down the lines (rides like a little horse) & has a lead change that will become auto in time. He has all of the pieces to make a 🔝 division pony, he just needs someone to finish him & take him there. Quality pony who will be a very successful superstar in the near future. Perfect choice for a good riding kid to start in the children’s and move up to the division. Green eligible. Reduced for a quick, uncomplicated sale. Will pass any level PPE. Clean X-rays on file. Low/mid starting with a 3️⃣.

Owners could love to get this sweet girl into her new home by 11/1! They cannot afford to keep her in training and she has made so much progress the last 3 weeks, I would hate for her to go home & sit! MOTIVATED!

🤎 Salida - 2011, 16.2 Oldenburg mare. She is being sold as a “project” due to being out of work (until recently) the last 5 years due to no fault of her own. She is also blind in one eye due to lack of proper human care throughout those 5 years. If those two things “aren’t for you”, keep scrolling.

This gorgeous mare could have been all of the things in life but due to owner life circumstances, she just has not had the opportunity. She is smart, forward thinking, comfortable and wants to please. She has all of the Flatwork buttons to make a lovely dressage horse for someone who will take the time to continue to bring her back into work properly. Accepts contact, responsive to aids & light off the leg. She was started and competed as a jumper and could go back to that job or really any direction anyone wants to take her. NO LIMITATIONS. Dressage horse that can hunter pace? I could see her loving it. Hacks out alone. Easy to like.

Her ideal home/person is patient, kind & is a mare mom. A bit bossy/pushy on the ground but respects someone who sets boundaries. This horse desperately wants a person.

Would also make a fantastic broodmare as she is bred very well. Owners working on obtaining papers if that is of interest.
