With so many lost pets, we're going to purchase a complete microchip reader stand. If someone finds a pet after hours, they can at least scan and possibly find the owner. We're excited to add this to our services to the community. We are looking at about $1000 for all items needed. We have placed the order and are now hoping to raise the funds needed. It will be outside and contained to protect from the elements.

How awesome is this!!! Stubby is pretty excited that his friends at the Fix Foundation and Simpson County Animal Shelter get to benefit from this awesome donation. Thank you to for donating 45 boxes and 4 bags of cat litter! With thanks to the team from for helping facilitate distribution to not only us, but to other local shelters and rescues and to Bernie Berlin for coordinating transport and delivery! We greatly appreciate you all!!

Our Simply Cats adoption program keeps us jumping! We took in 147 cats from our local shelter, other area shelters & rescues as well as individuals ... we have a full time transport person and work with 9 PETCO stores and 1 PetSmart store ... thankful for all our adopters!

If you've ever been greeted by Shannon, our front desk person, you will know the incredible customer service she provides .. today was her last day and we are going to miss her so much! We wish her the very best in her future endeavors ... please be patient as we continue our hiring process and training for our next front desk person. Tomorrow and Thursday, we have a returning guest employee, Kelsie, who will help us for Wednesday and Thursday .. Anna is out of town this week so we will be closed Friday and Saturday of this week. Our walk in vaccine clinic is Wednesday 10-2, remember, microchips are only $10 during September and Thursday is a surgery day for previously scheduled appointments only. If you need to schedule, our office handles all appointments. Please call 270-586-6600 .. please leave a voicemail if needed and we will return your call. We currently have a wait list.

This week, regular hours. The week of Labor Day will be limited to Tuesday, 10 to 2 for over the counter sales, Wednesday 10 to 2 for our walk in clinic and over the counter sales and Thursday our surgery day (must already have a scheduled appointment) and over the counter sales. We will be closed Friday and Saturday, Sept 6 and 7

Our 15th anniversary is coming up in September. Celebrating this year by offering $10 microchips started Wednesday, August 21 and running thru the end of September. Available during our walk in clinics and at time of spay/neuter surgery. Microchips provide a way for proof of ownership as well as should your pet go missing, a way for shelters and finders to reunite you with your pet! Our chips have free registration as well. Every Wednesday 10 to 2 and during your pets 's scheduled surgery day for the next 6 weeks
