PSA: People please beware of squeaky toys! We had a guest dog over the holiday who tore up a lot of toys not realizing that one of my poodles played with a toy with a exposed squeaker. He started throwing up, then diarrhea, then he started pacing. My first thought was bloat. Took him to the ER, not bloat we left with anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds. Next day went to our vet for x-rays to see if he has a blockage. X-ray show nothing. Four days later, he was still sick even on the medicine. We did a scope of the belly nothing! He ended up having ER surgery to remove a squeaker. He never eats toys ever!. I know lots of people have squeaky toys beware.
