We are thrilled to share some wonderful news with you! Moore Veterinary Hospital is growing, and with this addition, we will be able to provide even more prompt care for urgent same-day and next-day visits for your beloved pets.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Cameron Stanley to our team. Dr. Stanley brings many years of experience in emergency and urgent care, with a passion for tackling complicated cases to help your pets feel their best again. A West Virginia native, he studied biology and chemistry at West Virginia Wesleyan College before earning his DVM from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Dawgs!) in 2010. In his free time, Dr. Stanley enjoys spending time with his son, his cat Sammi, coaching sports, and sharing his love for music.

We would also like to highlight Dr. Ashley Maragas, who has been providing exceptional care since joining our practice in 2023. Dr. Maragas is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and has a special interest in orthopedics. Our practice now offers advanced procedures like TTA (cranial cruciate ligament repair/ACL tears), bone plates, hip surgeries (FHO), and more. She is also helping feline patients overcome FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). She welcomes new clients/patients for orthopedic evaluations, well and sick evaluations.

Our owner, Dr. Nicole Moore, continues to dedicate herself to Greyhound care, soft tissue surgery, dental health, and managing complex medical cases. Since earning her DVM in 2013 from Ross University with her clinical year at The Ohio State University, Dr. Moore has grown the practice with a focus on compassionate and expert care. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and supporting her daughter, Quinn, who competes in gymnastics—keeping Dr. Moore busy most Saturdays, which means her Saturday hours are limited. She is accepting new clients and patients.

We are incredibly grateful for your trust and support since our opening in 2017. Your referrals and kind words have been instrumental in our growth, and we look forward to continuing to serve you and your pets with the best care possible.

Demeter is such a wonderful boy! He earned patient of the week for being perfect at his visit with us. He is an emotional support canine for our Franklin City Professional Firefighters Local 3742! We provide care for him at no cost as a thank you to all of them for everything they do to help us and keep us safe:) Hugs and Kisses to our special boy! We are glad he’s feeling better!!

CLOSED FOR TODAY

Due to the continued snowfall and road conditions not improving; we have decided to close for the day. We expect to have normal hours tomorrow 8am-6pm. If anyone has a sick pet that needs an appointment for tomorrow, please email to get on the schedule. [email protected]

We are moving our opening time to 2pm. Again, we are watching road conditions and are making adjustments as needed. Stay tuned for further updates.

Please email to schedule appointments for when we return from our holiday break/company retreat. We will be back in the office on Friday, January 3rd. The email will be monitored through the day, you will receive a response as soon as we are able. We saved many appointment slots for Friday anticipating the need after being closed for several days.

I’m so fortunate to have the best team of Veterinary assistants and customer service representatives! This week we celebrate and thank them for their hard work and dedication. It takes so many of these selfless individuals to keep the practice running to be able to care for your sweet babies. Stop in to say thank you to them for never complaining about their interrupted lunch breaks, early morning shifts or staying late to help with an emergency surgery; all of this to help save lives. These individuals rarely get the appreciation they deserve. THANK YOU LADIES AND GENT, from the bottom of my heart, I love you all and can’t not say how much I appreciate all you do in a day for my patients and clients. 😘
