ATTENTION CLIENTS: Animal House is open today (Monday 1/13), but we advise anyone who does not have a 4 wheel drive vehicle not to attempt getting up our driveway. We have cleared it the best we can, but the parking lot is still covered in snow and ice. We don't want anyone getting stuck! We are not seeing appointments this morning to allow temperatures to rise. If you need to bring your pet to see us this afternoon, please call from the parking lot and we will come out to your vehicle to get your pet. Please stay in your vehicle! We don't want anyone to get hurt. We will operate on curbside protocol today. Everyone stay safe out there!

Animal House will be closed January 27th through February 2nd so that Dr. Shower and staff can attend a continuing education conference. We will not have a doctor on duty during this week. Please call in prescription refills ahead of time (this includes Vetsource and Chewy prescriptions). Emergency veterinary hospital information will be available on our after hours phone message, our website, and our page. We will be back in the office on February 3rd at 8:30AM.

We are offering a 10% discount on any Annual (yearly wellness checkup) scheduled between January 2nd and January 23rd. Just be sure to mention the discount when you call to schedule your pet’s appointment.

Also, on Wednesday January 22nd will be booking medical appointments only (nothing surgical).

ATTENTION CLIENTS: If you need a prescription refilled for your pet, please be sure to put in your request by 4:00PM December 23rd. Dr. Shower will not be reviewing online pharmacy requests December 24th through Sunday December 29th. The clinic will be open until Noon on December 24th. We will be closed on Wednesday, December 25th. We will be open on December 26th. Please plan your prescription requests and pet appointments accordingly. Dr. Shower strongly recommends that all dogs who spend time hiking or camping or live/play near water be vaccinated against Leptospirosis. Due to the extreme flooding associated with hurricane Helene, river banks, streams, creeks, and lake shores will be prime environments for Lepto contamination.
