Animal House will be closed on Thursday 5/16 through Monday 5/20. We will re-open on Tuesday 5/21. When Dr. Shower’s husband, Bill, was diagnosed with cancer, he said he needed to stick around long enough to see their granddaughter, Lilly, graduate from high school. Throughout her childhood, Lilly has spent numerous summers and holidays in Franklin, visiting with her grandparents and hanging out at Animal House (napping on dog beds!). During her year at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School, she lived with Dr. Shower and Bill. We have all grown to love Lilly and celebrate her various achievements. Lilly is graduating from highschool this weekend, so Dr. Shower and Bill will be traveling to attend the ceremony. Congratulations, Lilly! We are proud of you!

ATTENTION CLIENTS: If you are sick, PLEASE do NOT come inside the clinic! Please do not bring sick children into the clinic. If your pet needs to see the doctor and you are sick, please call us from the parking lot, remain in your vehicle, and we will come get your pet. Once Dr. Shower has completed her examination, we will bring your pet back to you. Our staff works very hard to keep themselves, their families, and our clients healthy. We would greatly appreciate your help in making Animal House a safe environment for everyone. Thank you.

It's that time of year when families are making plans to get together for the holidays or travel to warmer locations. Sometimes pets are welcome, but other circumstances prevent pets from coming along. If you need the names of local boarding facilities or petsitters, please contact the office (828) 524-9990 and we will be happy to give you that information. PLEASE NOTE: The staff members of Animal House do not offer personal petsitting or boarding services.
