It was a hot 🥵🔥 but a great week for Forest Ridge Equestrian at Brownland Farm Summer. 4 horses with 3 champions!
🔥 Laura Allen and Calimero champion in low adult hunters winning two of your over fences
🔥 Abbie Burka and Collaboration champion in 2’3” USHJA hunters, winning all three of the over fences!
🔥 Brieanne Butler and Cognac moving up and earning champion the Hopeful jumpers
🔥 Shiloh Hoffman and Furst Kiss earning great ribbons in the 2’3” USHJA hunters and Limit riders

Charlie Boy is 8 years old, an athletic beautiful big bodied 17h gelding with plenty of chrome. He loves going to horse shows, he’s competitive in the hunter ring but prefers to show off his talents in the jumpers. Charlie Boy has been developed slowly due to his size. He’s competed through 2’9” hunters, .90 jumpers and is schooling 3’ at home with plenty of scope for more. He has auto changes, is great on trails, loads, and is a barn favorite with his goofy personality. Charlie is a thoroughbred but looks and rides like a warmblood. He’s big, brave, athletic and wants to do his best for his rider. Will do best in a professional program as he is still somewhat green. Located in Franklin, TN.
Low ✋ to borrow, low to mid ✋ to keep. *special consideration if he gets to stay in the barn*

Special opportunities just in time for Christmas! 🎄🎁 All horses are budget friendly and located in Franklin, tn.

1. Leo, for L only. Grey. 16.2 big bodied 9 year old ottb gelding that only raced once because going fast is not his strong point 😂 Leo loves the relaxed, on the buckle ride but will frame up and does lovely flatwork when asked. Shown up to 2’6” hunters. Great for someone wanting to start or get back into riding.

2. Lulu, L or S. Bay. 15.3, 17 year old registered KWPN mare. Lulu has experience showing up to 1.25m jumpers all over the country and looking to teach the ropes to someone up to 1.0m and can double as a hunter. Beautiful flatwork and loves to jump. Don’t let her age fool you, she’s got plenty of competitive years left!

3. Charlie Boy, L only. Chestnut. 8 year old 17hh BIG bodied tb gelding that looks and rides more like a wb. No one at the shows believe me when I say he’s a tb. Charlie has shown up to .90 and schooling 1 meter at home with scope for so much more! This horse is so much fun to ride and jump and absolutely loves showing. He’s looking for an ambitious young rider wanting to move up the levels with special consideration for him to stay in-barn.

I have two nice horses for lease while their owners are away at college:

1. “Leo” is a 16.2 hand 9 year old tb grey gelding. Very quiet kick ride on the flat and creates a nice motor to the jumps. 2’-2’6” hunter teacher type. Would be great for someone wanting to learn to jump and/or get back into riding. Available only for on-site partial lease as the owner comes back from college to ride some weekends.

2. “Lulu” is a 16 hand, 17 year old KWPN bay mare with miles to go. She’s got all the buttons on the flat and is a blast to jump with experience up to 1.25m jumpers and 3’ hunters. She would love to teach someone the ropes in the .90 jumpers or up to 2’9” hunters. She is available for lease only, prefer on site but could go to an approved progam.

Iso 2’6” hunter for lease for an older good riding lady. Needs to be a push ride with no buck or bolt that can be competitive at smaller A shows. Older is fine, maintenance is fine, not picky on breed, it just has to be safe safe. Budget around 20k. Who’s gonna be at brownland this week and next with one??

Sweet and sensible gelding looking for his adult or junior to dote on him. Recently started jumping but brave and very broke on the flat. Quiet and relaxed ride, safe and kind for an amateur or junior to bring along. Goes great western too for when your husband wants to go for a trail ride 😉

A great week at Brownland farm!
🏆 Winsome Rhapsody champion in .85 jumpers
🏆🏆 Ballorig and RF Atlas co-champions in Hopeful jumpers
🥈🥉 On A Whim earning a second and a third in the low adult jumpers with double clear rounds
🥈 Ballorig earned a second in pre adult jumpers with a double clear and fast round
🏅 Duc De Clermont had many lovely rounds for the first time competing in 3’ green hunters and competed in the brownland farm hunter derby beautifully
🏅 Scientifically improved with each round in the .85 jumpers

Thank you to all my amazing clients and horse owners and to brownland farm and staff, this week was a lot of fun!

Meet Loki! He’s the sweetest, kindest young horse. Rides the same in any weather, quiet and reliable. Just started jumping this winter and he’s been super easy to teach with his pleasing personality and natural talent. Brave but not quick to the jumps and kind enough for a junior or amateur to bring along. If I could keep him in the barn I would!! Asking low 5s

Fabulous two weeks at brownland. Everyone rode great and the horses were so happy to be showing! We even got to bring some young ones to experience the shows and they were super!

First show in the states and first time doing hunters with absolutely zero prep, this rockstar earned a fifth out of 27 due to rider error. This horse is something special! 🦆

It may have been mostly raining but good times we’re had by all at Brownland last week!
RF Atlas won a .85 jumper class and had great rounds in the pre adult jumpers with no rails! Looking forward to this guys development!
Ballorig had lovely rounds in a very competitive unrestricted childrens division earning a 2nd in one of the rounds
Scientifically had nice rounds in the pre childrens hunters and earned second in the flat
Charlie Boy came out to see the horse show sights and school, can’t wait to have him show next year!

We even saw a black cat wandering our aisle on Halloween morning! 🐈‍⬛
