To our dear clients this Memorial Day weekend🇺🇸,

We wanted to make you aware of our schedule changes throughout the upcoming holiday! We will be closing daytime hours a little early Friday to allow staff to celebrate the wedding of a WCAH family member! URGENT CARE will be able to assist you should you need any kind of after hours pet care from 5pm to midnight. We will be closed Saturday and Monday as well in observance of the holiday. Puppy fever!!! At a young age, teach your puppy to allow different parts of their body to be touched. Begin slowly and gently. Offer positive praise and treats when the puppy tolerates the touch. As your puppy grows, nail trims, ear cleanings, administering medication, toothbrushing, and examinations by your veterinarian will be much easier!

We are open 7:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday for daytime hours. We would love to help you keep your new family member happy and healthy! ♥️🐾

Prevention is the best medicine when it comes to heart worms! ♥️🪱🐶🐱There is no effective natural treatment for heartworm infection. Follow your veterinarian’s instructions closely- Be sure your dog is receiving a monthly prescription preventative to avoid this life-threatening infection. WCAH carries Proheart, Sentinel Spectrum and Sentinel Flavor Tabs for dog heartworm prevention and Revolution for cats! If you prefer a different brand of heartworm prevention, our vets will approve online prescriptions or write scripts for your pet as long as they have had a negative heartworm test in the last year!

Where is Heartworm disease a problem? Everywhere!! Heartworm disease has been diagnosed in all 50 states. Do you know how a pet contracts the disease? Mosquitos! ➡️➡️➡️🦟
