Today is the day! PetFest is from 10-4 at Franklin’s bandstand park. We have a lot going on, so stop out and see us!

10:00 am - National Anthem sung by Castibelle Sweinfurth (this sweet girl has been practicing for months and learning all about our anthem’s history so lets so her a lot of love)
10:15 - Pet Day Proclamation from Franklin Mayor Doug Baker
10:30 ish - Cockadoodle Poo Bingo. (We may do a second session if there is enough interest
10-12 noon - Dr Waitz will be giving low cost vaccines to dog’s only today
11 am - Jungle Terry will educate and inform us about many different animals
1:00 pm - Blessing of the animals by Pastor Diane Whitman
2:00 pm - Pet Costume Show
3:00 pm - drawing of the raffle baskets

Throughout the day, you can get your pet’s nails trimmed, ears cleaned, or a**l glands expressed.

The Bark Side Training will be doing agility and dog training demos throughout the event.

We have three wonderful souls doing reiki for your pets for donation to Precious Paws.

We have a lot of vendors and plenty of food vendors.

We have so many beautiful raffle baskets available.

Some of our adoptable dogs and cats will be on hand for you to meet.

We have pet art tents to make spider art with your pets and a kids tent for the kiddos.

Stop out and support your local animal rescue and enjoy a beautiful day celebrating the bond between pets and their people.

Weather looks like its going to be gorgeous this weekend. We have the schedule of events on the flyer! Several ongoing events like the vaccine clinic, basket raffles. Be sure and get your Pawsport stamped to win a prize! Bring your pets for the Blessing of the Animals at 1 and stay for the PetShow at 2. Please share the post to get the word out! Personally Im looking forward to the sloth at the Wild World of Animals pet show at 11. And don’t forget to support our food and craft vendors - we have 35+ vendors on hand.
