This past week Posh Pawz hosted Wallyn, while her mommy, who is a good friend of mine, took a much needed vacation. Wallyn is the sister to my Coco and I have to say, we had a ball having her. She’s a bright girl, so loving and sweet! Thanks again Sarah Michelle Riggan for choosing Posh Pawz to take care of your baby!

Just to clarify. Posh Pawz is an in home pet sitting service. We come to your home and take care of your pet while you are away. Once your client profile has been created, you are able to pick the time slot you want and how many times per day your pet needs to have a potty break, feeding, walked, etc; and how many times per week this service is needed. For example if you are going out of town for Friday, Sat, and Sunday. You may pick 2, 20 minute visits, one in the morning and one in the evening for each day and we will make sure that your pet(s) are well taken care of and loved. My plan is to also open a facility where you can board your pet if necessary and offer doggie day camp in the near future. But for now, it’s in home. Studies have shown that having in home pet care reduces the chance of your pet having separation anxiety while you are gone because they are in their own environment where they feel more comfortable. You also get a daily journal sent to you after every visit, which includes updates on your pet along with pictures. We strive to give our clients the reassurance that your fur babies are in excellent hands while you are away.

Good morning everyone!!! ☀️. I wanted to share with y’all a little background on how Posh Pawz was started.

As some of you already know, my name is Keri. I have worked in the healthcare field for about 17 years now and I’ve mostly worked 12 hour shifts for the majority of those 17 years. I’ve always had at least one dog. As many of you know we all leave our pets at home to go to work, and for me, that meant that I would have to get someone to come let my dog out for a potty break and/or feed him, because let’s be honest…..that’s a long time for a pet to be alone without a potty break at least. And although my dog is house trained, I still wanted him to have some interaction, food, water and love. Not to mention, when I went on vacation and couldn’t take my dog, I had to arrange for someone to take care of him for me, because I felt like it would be better for my dog to stay at home where he is comfortable and he would have less anxiety from me not being there. So I finally decided that if I had this need, then surely others do as well. I started doing some research and we don’t have very many facilities in our county to board dogs, much less have someone come to your home to take care of your pet. So that’s why Posh Pawz was created. To offer this service to others with the same needs as mine, because my fur babies are just as important to me as my real babies are! I love animals and I promise you not only will your pets be taken care of but probably spoiled a little bit too ❤️🐾🐶🐱.
