Adventures with Kurilian Bobtails! ❤️

I posted about Maisie a couple of months
ago. As we know, all pregnancies and deliveries
are not the same. There was a heartbreaking
loss that ended with a Csection and spaying
of Maisie. Only one out of six survived.
We all know it happens sometimes but it
doesn’t make it any easier on the heart.
What we concentrate on is the life of the
Mom and what we can save of the babies.
Deal with other emotions later. Maisie is
doing great! Her baby has the milk supply
for six available to him and he is becoming
a little butterball. 🤗. There will be no more
of Maisie’s gorgeous kittens with the wild
Lynx look, but Maisie is doing great and
that’s all that matters. When this baby weans,
Maisie will be retired with her mom, Zoey!❤️
Pictures are from pickup at the veterinarian hospital to seven days old. He was born
Easter Monday via Csection. 🙂

Today we had check ups for Qwinny
and her son Oscar.
Both are doing great!
Oscar was busy trying to read the
chart beside him and couldn’t look
at the camera.
Qwinny is a bit over 10 pounds.
Oscar a bit over 11 pounds. He is only
9 months old and all muscle 💪🏻.

Zoey is loving every minute of retirement!
She is my sleeping buddy and a great one.
My very first Kurilian, she has a tight grip on
my heart and always will. She will stay with
me. She will be six in April 🙂.
Her favorite place is this swinging bridge
we made and is in their catio.

Scotti and Annie.
Scotti is a little more conservative and Oreo
likes adventure every now and then 😂.
Annie goes with the flow and they are one

You’re never alone with Kurilians! ❤️
Just one of the reasons I love them
so much. When I’m doing housework
they follow me and nod off every once
in a while if I am in the same room long
enough. Of course, sometimes they
want to “help” rearrange, move something
to a better location or just plain inspection
duty (their favorite job)😻. These two got
sleepy after inspection was complete 🤣.

Adventures in retirement! 😻

Zoey is enjoying retirement!
She likes to keep me in line 😂,
and she does a very good job!
So we played a little dress up and she loves
these collars especially if it involves
bells on them.
She is truly bright-eyed and bushy tailed

Adventures began with this girl from Italy 🥰

For families that have her kittens , you know
how sweet and beautiful her babies are 🤗!

I will miss having babies from her, but am
so excited to have her, my loyal, sweet, beautiful companion, with no more heat cycles 🤗❤️ as she was recently spayed and doing well!

She is an excellent mother, midwife and protector. I hope she will also enjoy the
role of grandma 😻.

Adventures with Mama Bobtails ❤️! For those who have never seen a mama cat nesting, it’s best to fill her box with paper she can tear and move around every few minutes. If not, she’ll choose your bed or couch….. I made a deal with Juliet. Rip this box and it’s contents all to pieces if she wants and she feels happy and secure. Just leave our bed out if it 😂.
