Merry Christmas Eve, from us at Halo House Animal Resort! We hope Santa brings everything you asked for! Celebrating this season with all of our furry friends truly brings us such joy! The holidays are supposed to be spent with those who mean the most to you, and our furry friends mean the most to us! Have a safe and woofderfull Christmas!

Today 12/19/24, Halo House will be closing all services at 4:00pm instead of our normal business hours. From 8:00AM until 4:00PM you will be able to check-in your furry friend or check them out! Do not worry, our dedicated caregivers will still be here to tend to your fur babies needs! For our Campers, all Camp dogs must be picked up by 3:30pm, unless you have made prior arrangements. We will resume normal business hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM tomorrow, Friday 12/20/24. Thank you all very much!

As the fall season comes to close, the winter season is right around the corner! We can't wait to hear from all of our wonderful furry friends and clients! On Friday, 12/20/2024 Halo House will be hosting our Christmas Pawty for our Doggy Day Campers! During this event we will include: Stockings filled with yummy treats for your furry friend, Photos with Santa Paws, and some wonderful Christmas Carols sung by our lovely guests of honor; our furry friends. 🐾🎊🎄

Lets ring in some holiday cheer this season by signing up your furry friend to deck the paws this event. Located in the vestibule of our camp building will be the sign up sheet, you may also call our office at 856-694-0980 to reserve your spot now. We will be waiting! Paw-la-la-la-la-la-la 🎼🎤

Happy National Mutt Day!

National Mutt Day, also known as National Mixed Breed Dog Day, is celebrated on December 2 each year. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness of the many mixed-breed dogs in shelters and to celebrate their positive characteristics.
Embrace, save, and celebrate mixed-breed dogs, visit a shelter, volunteer at a shelter, and post on social media.

Mixed-breed dogs make up about 80% of dogs in shelters. They usually remain there longer than purebred dogs because purebreds are often adopted quickly, and mixed-breed dogs can face the stigma of being less then other purebred dogs. However, mixed-breed dogs can be just as good at performing the duties of purebred dogs. Duties such as search and rescue, bomb and drug sniffing, and guiding the blind. They can also be healthier, better behaved, and live longer.
