As promised here’s the Timelapse of our Phormictopus sp. Bayahibe molting. We’re happy to say after inspecting the molt Beyblade is in fact a female. Exciting day for one of our own. Fingers crossed for Beyblade (our Phormictopus sp. Bayahibe) as they go down for a molt. We have our camera setup for a time lapse we’ll try to put out later on.

Morgan was fantastic at his first adoption event. He was still a little nervous but towards the end got very curious. We are now taking applications for Morgan. As soon as we know the results of his f***l test he will be able to go to his new home.

Teagan’s first time at an adoption event and she did such an amazing job. Because of her we were able to teach many about MBD. She played with her toys and munched on strawberries. Teagan is available for adoption.

Our second event of the summer and we have not given up hope on finding forever homes. Come and visit us this Sunday with meet and greets and perhaps you might learn something new. It is sad to announce that little stringbean has passed away. He was curled up under his little tree and had gone peacefully as what seems to be in his sleep. This is the reality of being a rescue definitely to little creatures like this. They can go suddenly but at least he seemed to be at peace.

One week with us and Stringbean doesn’t even look like the lizard from before. He has continued to improve with 95% of the stuck shed removed. He’s now exploring and trying to climb again. He’s still in a tiny keeper but he is eating with a little help and seems to have gained some weight.

Teagan is eating on her own! For a while she could hardly move her body and now she is eating without assistance. She is now on a tapering dose of liquid calcium to aid in her MBD and therapy for her limbs. Mondo Gecko
Some Mondo time. Mondo is a great leopard gecko who seems to know his name or just knows the word food. He is an amazing leopard gecko who would be great for a first time gecko owner. Though he does have some seeing issues due to his cataracts and will need to be tong fed but those are the best moments to bond. Mondo needs a friend he can bond to and someone who knows the importance of gecko care. We are now accepting applications for Mondo who will go home with a 20 gal long tank and hides. Owners must have lighting/ basking bulb and UVB. These items can be purchased through our online store. We do not ship our friends.
